1. Self-catering holiday home with fantastic views (Álora, Malaga)

Budget holiday home in Álora, Malaga

You won’t have to worry about anything but your relaxation in this affordable holiday home. Its price makes it the ideal holiday place for the whole family, which will allow you to go on holidays without having to give away a kidney.

The breathtaking views you can enjoy from here and the closeness to El Caminito del Rey are the cherry on the pie of this fantastic accommodation, among the best budget holiday homes in Andalucia.

We had a lovely week staying in the Villa. It was very well situated for climbing and walking in El Chorro. The house and gardens were beautiful and the pool was a bonus to come back to after a long day in the sunshine. There is a supermarket very close by in Alora which sells everything we needed for the week.

2. Charming holiday home with fantastic pool (Órgiva, Granada)

Find this coquettish holiday home in the middle of the mountains of the Alpujarra. You will enjoy fantastic views and a secluded atmosphere as soon as you get to this accommodation. Fruit and olive trees surround the house,  providing the atmosphere with a delicious perfume.

The fact that you can enjoy all of this on a budget makes it even more appealing!

The villa is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The pool area is nice and secluded for lazing around in the sun (or shade under the olive trees) and the pool itself cooling after a hot day. Fernando came quietly early every morning to sweep the pool area and maintain the pool. It is an easy 10 minute walk to town up or down the lane for bars and restaurants - take a torch in the evening! After trying most places to eat and drink over a couple of visits the best we think is Hotel Puerta Nazari which is up the lane from the villa. It is great for eating out with a broad menu including local dishes and specials, fine wines a wide selection of beers and great service all at a good price. All round a nice villa in the countryside, but close enough to town to have the best of both worlds.

Just imagine yourself having breakfast in the covered porch while reveling in the breathtaking views over the hills of the Axarquía. To say that you can even spot the Mediterranean Sea while sunbathing should be the last thing you need to know before booking this spectacular accommodation.

P.s. The interior is even more charming (don’t believe me, just watch!)

We booked the location online ... we liked the views from the pictures and in reality we found the place to be exactly like the picture The host was super friendly, our trip was delayed twice and the host was very kind and understanding, they waited for us . They speak only in Spanish, and use google translator if you want to speak in English The views are so capturing, very private area , the sun hits the sitting area at the front of the house in the morning and by 1 pm there is a very nice wind coming from the sea which you can see clearly You also have mountain view which is captivating The only downside was the road, it needs 20 mins from the gas station in Torrox, the road for the first 10-15 mins is paved but then becomes unpaved and smaller as you go , it is scary at night ... We got used to it eventually The house was clean, the pool has great views. the place is surrounded with trees of papaya and avocados and grapes .. The neighbor was friendly as well

Modern features and ancient details mix in this holiday home among the hills of the province of Malaga. Its luminous interior matches the outdoor of the holiday home, characterised by a private pool and a high fence. Privacy is guaranteed in this self-catering holiday home.

The accomodation was spectacular, it was very clean and the views were amazing, these do not come accross in the actual pictures but they are breath taking. The owner is fantastic and responded promptly to all of our requests and questions. The upstairs patio is an excellent way to round off an evening, just looking at the scenery and staring at the stars. The pool is maintained regularily and and the bubble bath is really good too, I would loved to have spent more time there.

This coquettish holiday home is characterised by the lovely touches of the owners, who only want you to relax and revel both in the interior and exterior of this accommodation. The outdoor welcomes a private pool surrounded by olive trees that shelter the guests of the holiday home from the Andalusian sun rays.

The owners are a lovely couple, they don't speak a word of English which does make the initial phone conversation and meeting difficult if you don't speak any Spanish, but if you are going to Spain learn a little Spanish, don't just expect someone in Spain to speak English. The villa was very clean and spacious. The grounds are beautifully kept and its very private. The location is quiet and within a short walk of town. Orgiva isn't up to much but the location is fantastic for access to Granada, mountain villages and the coast.
Christopher, United Kingdom

10. Self-catering holiday home with pool (El Padul, Granada)

Budget holiday home in El Padul, Granada

A self-catering holiday home characterised by privacy is what you need to relax during your holiday, be it in winter or summer. If you are going in summer, you will be able to enjoy the private pool in total intimacy thanks to the wall that surrounds the outdoor space. On the other hand, if you go in winter, you can enjoy the cosy atmosphere of the indoor, provided with a fireplace and comfortable furniture.

I have had a very good experience. The house is fully equipped and very clean. It is well located near the town but at the same time secluded. You can do hiking trails if you like to walk. The environment is ideal for that. On the porch everything was very close at hand, the barbecue with its set of table and chairs and a great pool for the four people who were there. Ramón, the owner, is a lovely person. Fully recommended to relax and disconnect from the routine. To repeat without hesitation
