A perfect little piece of paradise. The villa was well equipped, homely and very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The gardens are spectacular and just the perfect place to be for some relaxation and to get away from it all. Extremely private and secure. A magnificent place to unwind!

The view across the valley to the water is magnificent. The landlords are very friendly and always helpful. I'd gladly stay again.

Lovely, spacious holiday villa with a large garden and a wonderful swimming pool in a quiet area. Very complete in terms of furnishings and amenities, both inside and out. Everything was very neat and clean. Nerja is a charming town and there are several supermarkets within a short drive. A car is necessary here, though. We had a wonderful week at this lovely place. The host speaks good English and the welcome was very friendly. Tip: the artificial grass can get quite hot in the sun, so flip-flops or water shoes are a great solution.

Great pool, great villa.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, clean villa. It is fully equipped with every convenience. You won't want for anything. As soon as you arrive, you can start enjoying yourself immediately. A (rental) car is convenient, though, as you are high in the mountains. The owners are super friendly and helpful.

Great house, great view, very friendly and helpful owners. We really enjoyed our time in the house. Having breakfast on the balcony every morning with the rising sun, a lovely cooling pool, and the house was absolutely perfect.

The house is elegantly furnished with luxurious amenities, boasts a perfect swimming pool, and enjoys a superb location with panoramic views to the south, across the hills to the sea, and to the north, towards the fascinating rock formation of El Torcal, ideal for hiking. It is an excellent base for exploring Andalusia and its main attractions: Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Malaga, Gibraltar, and Ronda.

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful house, situated in a great and quiet location. There is a tremendous amount of space around the house, allowing you to experience plenty of privacy and peace. We also really appreciated the lockable gate at the house. The road to the house was a bit of a challenge at first. Fortunately, we drove right behind the owner, so it went fine. After driving a few times, you get used to it and know exactly how to drive. The house itself is spacious and the beds were fine. There was good air conditioning in every bedroom, which was really lovely in warm weather. 👍 We did notice, however, that the electricity supply was not always sufficient to use multiple appliances at the same time. The gas stove also sometimes took quite a while to heat everything up properly, especially when cooking for 10 people. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. When we noticed that there was no decent coffee maker available, we only had to send one message. She sprang into action immediately and arranged a coffee maker for us right away. Truly top-notch service! The dishwasher really needs replacing. Unfortunately, it didn't clean the dishes properly, which meant we ended up washing up a lot by hand. The large swimming pool is definitely a plus, and we made wonderful use of it. However, we do think the pool is due for a refurbishment by now. Several tiles were loose or broken. Additionally, there are a number of things that, in our opinion, could be replaced or improved, such as the fencing around the house, the lounge sofa which was sagging quite a bit, and the football game which was broken. We also missed some practical items in the kitchen, such as sufficient bowls and dishes. With a group of 10 people, you really do need quite a lot of those. On the other hand, there were two fantastic large refrigerators with freezers. That was truly ideal with such a large group! All in all, it is a fantastic house in a beautiful location. There are certainly a number of points that deserve attention, and with some adjustments and renovations, the house could become even more complete and comfortable. But despite these points for improvement, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a fantastic holiday and will especially remember the beautiful surroundings, the peace, the space, and the lovely atmosphere of the house!

Great location. Quiet and clean. The access road is steep, and even from the town of Nerja to the house it is partially an unpaved road, even with a regular car…

This villa was just perfect for us. It was sparkling clean and beautifully designed inside and out. We appreciated the additional downstairs bathroom. The spacious kitchen was immaculate and had every utensil you could think of. There is good storage space in the bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable and there was great shower pressure in the two upstairs bathrooms. Everything felt nice and new! We had amazing weather the whole week - 30 degrees and blue skies, and the large shaded outside seating space was just amazing. We used the easy-clean BBQ most evenings, and loved that there was a curtain you can draw to shade the dining table from the direct sun. We only needed to use the AC for a few minutes in the bedrooms each night before sleeping, but it was handy to have. The mountain views from the villa are just fantastic and we watched the stunning sunsets every night from the sun loungers. The large pool was a constant 28 degrees, and was also immaculately clean. The villa is peaceful, completely private and not overlooked. The villa feels very rural, yet you are only a 4 min drive to the Dia Supermarket in Riogordo, which is open all day, unlike the other smaller shops. One point to note is that it is very difficult to get parked in Riogordo - there are many steep, narrow and winding streets. However, I had no trouble getting parked outside Dia, which is on the edge of the town, so it is a good idea to park your car there and explore the town on foot. The villa is a great position to explore the local area and we especially loved eating lunch like locals at Restaurante La Huerta, Casabermeja and Restaurante Belen in Colmenar. Maria was a lovely and kind host. She met us at the property and she also lives locally. She was always on hand to answer any queries we had. Note the driveway up to the villa from the road is unmarked and very steep, but we had hired a decent car and had no problem with it and the views are totally worth it! We would highly recommend this property!

The house was tidy and Esther was very friendly. The biggest asset is the outdoor area: a beautiful pool, a fantastic view, and 100% peace and quiet—blissful! Creating shade was a problem, though; there is a large parasol, but unfortunately, it was quite windy, making it unusable. Moreover, it is due for replacement. Perhaps a shade cloth would be more efficient on a hill? The house is small but nice. In the kitchen, we missed having a few more glasses, although the number of coffee cups was very appropriate. The bed is quite narrow at 140cm; we would have preferred a real comfort mattress and proper sheets (instead of sheets that keep coming loose due to the wrong size) rather than two large televisions. We found the mattress really too thin and too hard and returned from our holiday with back pain. An ideal cottage for those who love beautiful views!

Quiet location, Sandra is very friendly and super helpful. Larger supermarkets are a bit further away, but we made a day trip out of it. Beautiful surroundings! The Villanueva reservoir is highly recommended!

An incredibly elegant and clean house, surrounded by mango trees. Simply gorgeous. A lovely, well-maintained garden with a stunning lemon tree and palm trees. And a fantastic pool. We spent a wonderful few days in this country villa. Simply perfect.

It was a few wonderful days in Malaga. The house was fully equipped for a family holiday, and the very best part was undoubtedly the large terrace with a swimming pool, where both the dogs and we had a great time.

The house is far from the surrounding villages. The view is magnificent, overlooking the sea and the mountains in the distance. However, the sea is further away than indicated, and the roads leading to the house are not easy. The beds are comfortable. Some kitchen items were dirty, notably the unusable grater. Otherwise, the owners were very welcoming.

This is our second time to the property and we were not disappointed. The villa is in a fabulous location with amazing views. It is a real “ home from home” with everything you need for a great holiday. Lovely pool and beautifully peaceful. The road is ok- we have experienced a lot worse in Spain -you just need to take your time and drive sensibly. There are plenty of passing areas. You do need a car. The owner is always on hand with great communication. We look forward to visiting the property again soon.

The journey to the holiday home seems a bit adventurous at first, winding through the dry riverbed and up the steep mountain. But once you arrive at the top, a beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding landscape unfolds. The terrace is so incredibly beautiful that you want to sit there all day and enjoy the view. We spent practically the entire time outside barefoot. In the morning, you sneak off to the pool with your cup of coffee to relax and wait for the sunrise. Sometimes a neighbor drives by and waves, and in the evening, the other neighbor's friendly dog comes by to take a look. The bathroom is excellent, with a great shower, the beds are super comfortable, the living room is incredibly cozy – it really is a lovely place to stay with a very nice landlord. We were even able to barbecue and had more than enough space for everything and everyone; saying goodbye was really hard.

We absolutely loved our stay at this villa. The villa is nestled in the beautiful Spanish countryside, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Waking up to peaceful views, enjoying breakfast on the terrace, and spending warm evenings on the terrace with our family made every day feel special. The villa itself was immaculate, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The pool was a real highlight and quickly became our favourite place to relax and spend time together. The surrounding area was stunning, with plenty of opportunities to explore charming local villages and experience authentic Spanish culture. What made our stay even more memorable was the genuine hospitality of the hosts, Mari Carmen and José. They were welcoming, attentive, and clearly cared about ensuring we had a wonderful experience. They are so friendly and even brought us melons and water as a welcome gift. They were always available if we needed anything and recommended some good places to visit during our stay. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already talking about when we might return. This is a truly special place, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway in rural Spain. ❤️

Seconda Vacanza a Nerja, la prima l'abbiamo fatta lo scorso anno. Bella villa con piscina privata dotata di tutti i confort. Un po' tortuosa la strada per arrivare, ma comunque fattibile! Abbiamo apprezzato molto la zona piscina anche se erano presenti purtroppo un sacco di zanzare mosche e vespe. Il piccolo consiglio che darei é quello di provvedere a mettere un tavolo anche sulla terrazza al piano della casa, scendere ogni volta con tutte le stoviglie e il mangiare alla lunga stanca! Per il resto nulla da dire ci é piaciuta molto!

We traveled with our two dogs and had a fantastic time. The chalet was fully fenced and we did not encounter a single problem. And the owner was always very attentive. Everything was great.

Excellent accommodation for large groups. Very spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. Malaga is easily accessible by car. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the owner was always available.

Recommended for the view and tranquility. The owner is welcoming and always available. However, improvements are needed. Therefore, the rating doesn't deserve 9.3 or 9.5.

A lovely villa for 2, quiet location which is what we wanted, amazing views of mountains and distant sea, outdoor space was great, pool was just the right size and nice and warm.

We had a fantastic arrival; the information and communication with Antonio were excellent. The house, the pool, and the location in the region for excursions were superb. It was clean and well-equipped. We used the grill almost every day. Antonio even adjusted the evening lighting for the pool so we could enjoy it longer. We would gladly return.

A lovely place to stay, although it didn't quite live up to the description. The welcome was warm and helpful. However, after only two days, a few minor problems came to light. The showers didn't drain properly, it wasn't very clean, and so on. The location is spectacular, and sunsets like this are hard to find by the sea. So you can easily overlook those few downsides.

Lovely house in a peaceful location. We were not overlooked and had a fantastic pool all to ourselves. The views of the Andalusian hills from the day bed were beautiful as were the sunsets. We can 100% recommend.

The house and grounds are impeccably maintained and clean. It's equipped with everything you need, including air conditioning. The owners are incredibly friendly. Note: If you don't speak Spanish, you'll need a translation app. Unfortunately, it's not as quiet as we expected, as dogs bark and yappy day and night, and the small street is quite busy. However, we felt very comfortable in the house.

This villa is stunning ! There is a winding road to get to it ,after a couple of goes it’s really manageable. But I would recommend hiring a small car ! There are definitely less accessible villas in the area . The views are magnificent as soon as you step on to the property, with the outside area all on one level . We spent most of our days lounging on the Bali bed and swimming in the pool . The property feels very private and not overlooked . Inside the villa there is a kitchen /lounge /dining area , it’s very comfortable and has everything you’d need to self cater . It is possible to walk to Frigiliana from the villa if you’re feeling energetic. It’s actually not that far , but is hilly and you’d have to be careful in the blazing sun as there’s very little shade en-route . So I wouldn’t change a thing about our stay , from the lovely host to rural holidays . Happy with it all !

The house is very quiet, and although there is a second apartment in the same building, you hardly hear anything from it. The only exception might be the other family's dog, which barks occasionally. The swimming pool is private and very well maintained. As others have already noted, the road to the house is partly unpaved, uneven, and steep. We were lucky enough to receive mangoes from their own orchard as a gift. Carlos and his daughter, who manage the property, are very hospitable and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. Complete privacy. No noise at night. We were able to enjoy the pool to the fullest. It is located just a few kilometers from the beautiful beach of La Barrosa and close to Chiclana, where you can find everything you need. The owner was very friendly.

Excellent accommodation and location. Very neat villa fully equipped. The village of Frigiliana is 10 minutes away and the beach is 20 minutes away. Very quiet surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay in Granada. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well maintained, and the location was ideal for exploring the area. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings. The host was friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we would happily stay here again.

The best part: a great place to disconnect from the city. The pool and barbecue area is fantastic! What could be improved: some beds are very uncomfortable, there's only one bathroom per room, and two of the three houses lacked kitchenware.

Brilliant place if you love peace, privacy, silence, and comfort. There is a very small local supermarket in the village, but larger supermarkets are a 20-minute drive away via normal asphalt roads. Very nice owner, convenient communication via WhatsApp, and respects your wishes. The pool is perfect for cooling off, and the beds are comfortable. Sun all day, with shaded spots available. If you are looking for total silence and privacy, look no further.

Everything went well. However, there could have been better information about the trip. We rented an SUV, which was a good choice. The condition of the road to the house took some getting used to.

The cottage is beautiful and small but nice. The garden is stunning and the jacuzzi is lovely and nice and warm. However, we did find that the description did not match what we found. There was no washing machine, so you had to make do with just one towel for the entire week. Furthermore, the photos on the website are inaccurate; they show photos of a different pool and the dimensions listed are incorrect as well. These are a few points of constructive criticism.

This holiday home has everything you need. It is exceptionally clean. Highly recommended. The location is fantastic; you have privacy, yet are very close to the coast and shops. There are also good restaurants nearby. A car is essential.

Large house and extensive surrounding mature grounds with a good sized pool and great views across the valley towards Frigiliana village and the sea at Nerja. The house was comfortable and aircon appreciated; adequately equipped for our two week stay. Simon was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful.

The house is a dream. Maurice gave us a warm welcome. The spacious terrace and, above all, the fantastic pool with plenty of sun loungers and parasols were the best part. You feel at home instantly and start relaxing immediately. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The bedrooms and beds are spacious and, most importantly, very clean. Both bathrooms were also spotless. In short, it was a holiday we will remember fondly for a long time. There is absolutely nothing that could be improved about this accommodation.

We stayed for a week in this lovely accommodation. Plenty of space, modern furnished with traditional decor. The pool area is perfectly sized and the views are spectacular. We would love to return in future.

We had a fabulous stay at this holiday home. The exotic ambiance of the property, with its Balinese bed, is truly unique. The swimming pool was a big hit, and we often enjoyed the many furnished outdoor spaces. Inside, the decor is rustic, very clean, and offers practically everything you could need. The layout of the rooms is well thought out. You'll stay in a peaceful and relaxing setting, on a hill overlooking Algarrobo and, to the west, the bay. A charming detail: you're right in the heart of a mango grove, and since we were lucky enough to be there during the fruit season, we enjoyed an even more vibrant tropical atmosphere. The property is fenced (including the parking area); it feels safe and is also ideal for dog owners, with walking trails right next door. If you have the time and inclination to stretch your legs, you can even walk to Algarrobo. You'll find simple cafes and two bakeries, among other things. For more shopping, you can easily visit the coastal towns, just a few kilometers away. There are also a variety of traditional markets that we really enjoyed (for example, Caleta). The road to the house is sometimes a little winding, but with patience and caution, it's perfectly manageable, especially since all the local drivers we met were incredibly friendly and gave way or reversed. You get used to it quickly. And you really don't want to leave. The location is fantastic. The charming city of Malaga, with its airport and train station (including a high-speed rail line to Cordoba or Seville), is easily accessible, and many other beautiful destinations are nearby, such as Nerja (with its stunning bays) or Competa and the Axarquía region. The real highlight of this stay, however, was the host family, who took exceptional care of their guests. Their dedication, availability, and approachability transformed this vacation rental into a true home away from home. What more could you ask for?

The house is very clean and well-maintained. The pool was also very clean and in excellent condition. The garden is beautiful and lovingly landscaped. Sun loungers, parasols, and even an outdoor four-poster bed were provided. There is also another covered seating area with a table and chairs in the garden. On the terrace, there is a lovely charcoal barbecue area with lighting and two sinks. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is there.

We’ve travelled to Torrox numerous times over the last 20 years & this is one of the best Villas we have stayed in. The Villa was very clean and very well maintained. The road to the Villa is very straightforward and is fully concreted. Great views & very peaceful.

The house was beautiful, especially the view of the sunrise. The air conditioning worked efficiently, the house was fully equipped and had everything we needed. The pool was absolutely the highlight. The road leading to it is very bumpy, so we weren't really able to explore the surroundings, but the location is perfect for enjoying peace, quiet, and sunshine, exactly what we were looking for.

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday at ---------. Raquel and Pablo are lovely people who take great pride in their property, and it shows. We had everything we needed, and what a fantastic location. We couldn't have wished for better.

The place was very quiet, which is exactly what we wanted. There is a house right next to the property, but no one lived there so it was perfect as we didn't need to worry about disturbing anyone. Everything was clean, the owners were very nice and helpful, we had everything we needed on the property. The road isn't as bad as we thought, given the other reviews, it can be tricky and narrow but if you drive slowly there should be no issues. The house is easy to find but our sat nav got a bit confused and we arrived in the night so we couldn't see very well either, but the owner, Pilar, was really helpful and guided us a bit towards the end so we'd find the house easily. The tranquility of the place is great, a 15 min drive to Lidl, Mercadona and Aldi, so if you want to rip off from the busy city this is the place. Oh and the pool is amazing!!! The water heated up beautifully every single day (unlike other places we've been to), and it's a good size too.

A very beautiful, stylish garden, ideal for relaxation. A spacious, lovely house with excellent amenities. The furniture includes some beautiful individual pieces, some of which require restoration.

It was a good location; the house was clean, spacious, and fully equipped. It is located close to the beach and the center of Nerja (5 min by car and 20 min on foot).

A beautiful villa in lovely surroundings. We spent 2 glorious weeks here, ideal for our anniversary. The area is peaceful with far reaching views and plenty of wildlife. We regularly saw a pair of Short-toed Eagles soaring over the valley and even once saw a Spanish Imperial Eagle! There were always lots of Sardinian Warblers and Doves in the nearby trees and occasionally a few Bee-eaters. We had fresh figs from the trees in the garden, breathtaking sunsets and sunrises and awe inspiring starry skies! The villa itself is very well maintained and clean. Everything is in full working order and it is very well equipped. The owners clearly pay a lot of attention to looking after it. The beds are very comfortable, quite firm, which is ideal for my bad back, with comfy memory foam pillows. We slept very soundly. The hosts were lovely, so friendly and welcoming. They showed us around and explained everything even though we arrived late at night. They assured us we could contact them if we needed anything and advised us when someone would visit to clean the pool. The pool was cleaned every 4 days. Each time they let us know they were coming with plenty of notice and never intruded. It was certainly the best villa we have stayed at in the area and would thoroughly recommend it. Everything was 5 star. Facilities, cleanliness and friendliness of owner, I would give 6 stars if I could!!
