Small, charming house with a great terrace. Lots of flowers, a hammock, very cozy. The road up the mountain is bumpy, rocky, and often single-lane. This can be a problem for inexperienced or nervous drivers. The swimming pool is due for replacement; the mosaic tiles are coming loose in rows. There is only air conditioning in the living room. That is not enough to cool the whole house. The fans in the bedrooms make quite a lot of noise when on the highest setting. The fridge makes a lot of noise, and because of the heat, we didn't want to close the door. As a result, we adults didn't sleep very well, but fortunately, the teenagers slept wonderfully. We made good use of the pool during the day and relaxed nicely. The 15-minute drive to the beach was fine. However, we avoided driving there in the dark, so we didn't eat out much – but that wasn't a problem, as there are plenty of shops in the village on the way to the beach. We had deliberately chosen a detached house, but next time we would probably forgo the view and choose a house that is a bit closer to the city instead.

We also greatly appreciated the vegetable garden, where we could freely help ourselves to fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as the chickens, which provided us with fresh eggs every day. This thoughtful touch made the stay even more authentic and enjoyable. We leave with wonderful memories and will gladly return. The weekend was fantastic; everything was spotless, the outdoor barbecue was excellent, and the pool was magnificent. The service and attention were impeccable.

There were four of us and we had a great time. The house was very comfortable with everything we needed. Nothing was missing. Everything worked perfectly. The road to the house is a bit tricky for a small car, but with care you can manage it.

It is a rural setting, a little further from the city, but within walking distance. There are plenty of activities nearby. A river flows close by. Conil beach is an hour and a half's drive away. You absolutely must enjoy the countryside: the crowing of the rooster, the horses, the sheep, and the insects. If you live in the city, you will notice the difference, but believe me, it is worth it. The house also offers the comfort of a villa: air conditioning and a swimming pool. The pool is large and we really enjoyed it. The bedrooms are spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped. There are various living areas for dining or relaxing. There are many opportunities to be outdoors. There are two bathrooms, although only one is mentioned in the advertisement.

A few days to completely unwind with a beautiful view and plenty of silence, although the pool was very small and the barbecue area was not covered. There were only two sun loungers by the pool, the mosquito net had some holes, and there was no ventilation underneath. The owner responded quickly and was very friendly. The place is far from the hustle and bustle and is ideal for escaping the city for a while.

Received a warm welcome from the homeowner; he always asks if he can help or if you need anything and is always ready to assist. The house is very well located close to all the beautiful places. The cottage is lovely, and we really enjoyed the garden and pool as well. Especially the fact that it is private.

The stay (2 weeks) was fabulous, everything was perfect. Everything was very clean, the view indescribable. Here you can truly switch off and simply enjoy yourself.

The house is located close to the village, just a 15-minute walk away. A car is necessary for larger grocery shopping, but that is not a problem, as the Mercadona supermarket and other amenities are also nearby.

Bad, unmarked, narrow road where two cars cannot drive side by side, swimming pool without a railing for the elderly or people with limited mobility, no air conditioning in the living room, very hot, the TV keeps cutting out and people get lost along the way.

Our stay at Antonio's was a wonderful way to end our road trip in Andalusia. The house is beautifully laid out and well-maintained. Everything was provided for our comfort. The garden is extraordinary, also very well-kept, and invites you to relax. There are magnificent plants of all kinds. The view of the town and the sea at Torrox is splendid; truly a little paradise not to be missed. The villa's location is elevated, 5-10 minutes from the nearest supermarket. Accommodation was exactly as in the photos. Very spacious, clean and smart looking. Lots of extras provided eg toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets,pool towels. Lots of room for four families. Plenty of sunbeds.

Lovely property in a remote location. The villa is a 5 minute drive in the hills above Sayalonga. Roads are steep, single track and only partially concreted. You need to be organised with food etc. Taxis are limited and are expensive.

The holiday home in Torrox offers a magnificent view of the mango and avocado groves that stretch down to the sea. Access to the house is a bit of a challenge (but even with an Opel Corsa, it was manageable), and the effort is well worth it: the grounds are beautifully landscaped and spotlessly clean. The large swimming pool overlooking the sea is ideal for a refreshing dip. The interior of the house and its furnishings are excellent. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor bar with its barbecue, refrigerator, microwave, and other amenities. Our contact on site was very friendly.

It was an incredible experience. The peace and quiet, the good weather, the condition of the accommodation – exactly as in the photos. The owner was very attentive and friendly. He took care of cleaning and watering the pool; we didn't have to do anything at all. The only downside is that for those two kilometers from the paved road to the accommodation, you need a vehicle with high ground clearance and a sturdy construction, as it is an unpaved country road. Be careful when overtaking, as there are spots where two vehicles cannot pass each other, but it is not very busy.

We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed it immensely. The owners did their best to help us whenever something was needed. Very sweet people, very hospitable (Juan, thanks for everything). The villa was very clean, the appliances worked well, and there was a spacious garden with plenty of garden furniture and enough shade. Definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful holiday in this very spacious and well-equipped villa, which was clean and had a beautiful view. Rafael, the owner, is very attentive to his guests and always available. The road to get there, however, is a little tricky.

The accommodation is a 10 out of 10 in every way. From the owner's friendliness, the location, the cleanliness, and especially the pool with its barbecue. This is our second year in a row, and we will definitely be back.

The town is absolutely beautiful with an incredible view from the villa. There are several swimming spots to visit within a few kilometers of the villa. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming; he sent us information about events to do during our stay. He also messaged us regularly to see if we needed anything. Truly very, very kind. The only slight downside is that the roads are a bit narrow with many hills and valleys.

Lovely holiday home fully equipped with all amenities. The view is fantastic, and the surrounding area, with villages like Frigiliana and Nerja, is well worth a visit. We had a wonderful holiday with our two daughters, aged 11 and 9. The road to the cottage is narrow but manageable, especially if you take the paved route. And the peace and quiet and the view you get in return make up for it completely!

It was a lovely secluded house in the mountains, just outside Almachar. Enjoying the spacious pool, BBQ, but certainly also the spacious bedrooms inside. It is about a 15-20 minute drive to Torre del Mar, but it is more than worth it. The owners are also very friendly.

We had a wonderful week in this little holiday home near Nerja. The house is only accessible by rental car, via a sometimes very steep gravel road. Initially, we were a little skeptical about the location, but it turned out to be ideal. The beach is a 15-minute drive from the house, and a charming mountain village is also 15 minutes away. There's absolutely nothing around the house! Just avocado trees, mango trees, and a few stray dogs. The house and grounds are fully fenced, which we really appreciated with our children. The house and grounds were very clean, and the pool had just been renovated. It has a gentle slope, so even our three-year-old could use it easily with armbands. Outside, there's a barbecue, a refrigerator, a large sofa, and various seating options. Part of the terrace is usually shaded all day, making it a pleasant spot for lunch. The house has air conditioning in every room. The interior is very simply furnished. Numerous information panels on the walls explain how the air conditioning works, etc. However, we would have appreciated a user guide for the alarm system and the trash cans. I recommend that future tenants bring their own plastic storage boxes or buy some locally for a few euros. As the house is very secluded and the nearest neighbor is quite far away, our children could run around and make noise as much as they wanted. Furthermore, the terrace is almost completely private, which allowed the children to run around naked. The internet connection is rather weak; those who rely on it shouldn't count on it, even though it never worked. The outdoor shower was unfortunately out of order, and some of the garden furniture was broken but still usable. You must always wipe up any food scraps and caraway seeds immediately, otherwise ants will quickly infest them. Unfortunately, our swimsuits were heavily stained green in the pool. We couldn't tell if it was from the sunscreen or something else about the water. We'd never seen anything like it before. Overall, we highly recommend this house if you plan to spend a lot of time at the house and in the pool. We're seriously considering returning next year for a longer stay. That's definitely the main takeaway from our trip!

We spent two wonderful weeks with Ursula. It was simply perfect! Everything is impeccably maintained. The view is incomparable. The accommodation was excellent, and we found many things you wouldn't find elsewhere, such as shopping bags, sun lounger cushions, and beach and golf equipment. The beds were very comfortable. The house was pleasantly cool even without air conditioning. Ursula is a very attentive and helpful host. We have never been so pampered or treated like royalty. Thank you so much! We will miss her dearly, as well as Carlos, Lenchen, and Maya. We highly recommend her! We would return without hesitation!

We had an exceptional stay in this magnificent villa. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the place: the villa is beautiful, perfectly maintained, and extremely well-equipped. Everything is designed so that you want for nothing. The cleanliness is simply impeccable. Every room in the house was spotless, which was particularly appreciated. The beds are very comfortable, and we all slept very well. The owner was available and responsive throughout our stay, answering our questions. A special mention goes to his parents, who were remarkably kind and welcoming. Always smiling, especially with the children, they welcomed us with great generosity. They regularly offered us fruits and vegetables from their gardens and even invited us to help ourselves if we wished. These thoughtful touches made our stay even more authentic and warm. We have absolutely no negative points to mention. This is undoubtedly one of the best rentals we've ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa and will return with immense pleasure. A huge thank you to the owners for their warm welcome and generosity. It's a shame there's a slight lack of privacy on part of the pool area.

The villa was more tired looking than photos show (turf around pool coming away, two immovable small parasols versus the large white ones in photos, shower doors loose on the hinges, freezer shelves taped and one drawer broken, no green awning covers by pool as shown in photos). We also thought we had access to extra bedrooms as listed in the booking but these seemed to be in a locked separate cabin on arrival. Salvador was brilliant at responding to messages but there was no guest book and so all questions that came up had to be asked via WhatsApp. Things like where to put recycling, location of switch for lights near pool, wifi code, would have been very helpful in a guest guide. We found out about the ‘reasonable use’ policy of electricity from reviews prior to booking (and were charged around €90 euros extra for our electricity use), the listing says AC included but all of them were on 2 hour timers which meant waking up in the night to switch them back on when waking up hot. We also had a huge problem with wasps whenever eating outside with two of our group getting stung! All that aside, the kids loved the pool and play area, the outdoor cooking set up and dishwasher worked great for our evening meals, and there was a beautiful view from the pool area.

Access to the accommodation might seem a bit tricky at first, but after walking back and forth a few times, you quickly get used to it. I recommend this accommodation for a small family or a couple looking for excellent value for money.
