This superb modern house is situated on the edge of the Moorish town of Yunquera in the heart of the Andalucian mountains.
Presented to the highest standard throughout and with all the mod cons you could wish for, the accommodation sleeps up to eight people, having four bedrooms (two doubles and two twins) and three bathrooms (two en suite).
Each of the three floors of this magnificent property has an extensive patio area. The roof terrace is very secluded - ideal for private sunbathing - and also has a hot tub and a sauna! It is accessed from either the master bedroom or the top landing. The middle patio is where most socialising is done as it leads directly from the living room and kitchen area. There are plenty of sun loungers here and a table and chairs for al fresco dining. Music is available via the living room sound system. The lower level leads to the pool area and, again, is very secluded, ideal for privacy. Needless to say, the views from all levels are truly outstanding.
Beautifully furnished, all rooms have air conditioning and are well equipped - for example, with hairdryers and full length mirrors in all bedrooms. All rooms also have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors allowing access to the patios and making the most of the panoramic views. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances, including ceramic 5-ring hob, oven, two fridges, drinks cooler, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The massive living room has plenty of comfortable seating and a separate TV area with 48in plasma screen, Sky, a home cinema system and DVD player. The dining area seats eight people. There are no gaming consoles but the house is equipped with WiFi.
At pool level there are two huge terraces including a covered area offering some welcome shade during the heat of the day. Here there is a poolside shower and further seating and dining furniture plus the all-important barbecue. The pool (5.25m x 3.5m) includes a 1.5m long platform at the shallow end that extends the full width of the pool and with the water here just some 30cm deep, is ideal for small children to paddle and play under supervision. The pool also has a cover for safety and additional warmth (cover the pool at night to maintain water temperature).
Although the house is situated in a quiet location it is only a 10 minute walk to the town centre where there are many shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Many of these shops sell local meat, cheeses, wines, vegetables and other produce and are substantially cheaper than in major towns and on the coast. There is a Spar in the town square that sells many branded products. For bigger shops we suggest the 20-minute drive to the nearest town of Coin which has many supermarkets and other attractions, including an impressive shopping mall, La Trocha.
The unspoilt Moorish town of Yunquera is situated half way between Malaga and Ronda in the stunning Sierra De Nieves region of Andalucia. Surrounded by national parks, orange groves and magnificent mountains, it's a perfect location for walkers, cyclists, artists, writers or anybody wanting absolute peace and quiet. Malaga airport is some 50 minutes away, Jerez is a 90-minute drive and Seville two and a half hours. It is on the main bus route between Malaga and Ronda. The stunning sandy beaches and bustling nightlife of Marbella are an easy 40-minute drive away. Altogether, this is a stunning holiday home in an idyllic location.
