The seventh edition of the mountain race will touch the towns of Marbella, Ojén and Monda, leaving from the square Monseñor Rodrigo Bocanegra. Three types of runs are included in CXM Sierra Blanca: the 43-km marathon and the 30-km one, whose finish line is at the Parque Vigil de Quiñones; and the shorter, 12-km race that ends in the Plaza de Andalucía in Ojén.

Anything around the end of October?
Hi Fergal, every year Malaga welcomes the “Carrera Urbana Ciudad de Málaga” at the end of October. The exact date has not been confirmed yet, but in 2018, it was on October 22nd. Best regards 🙂
Any running events 24-27 October?
Hi Cathy, there are still no running events planned for the dates you mention. However, the dates of the 10-km “Carrera Urbana Solidaria Ciudad de Málaga” have not been confirmed yet, so it may happen during this weekend, too (for the time being, this running event is planned for October 20th). Malaga is welcoming the 41st 10-km Urban Race on October 20th (you can sign up here: http://pruebas.fedatletismoandaluz.net/inscripciones/corteingles/corteingles.php).
On November 3rd, there is a half marathon in Fuengirola (http://www.dorsalchip.es/carrera/2019/11/3/Media_Maraton_de_Fuengirola.aspx#PanelInscripcion), and on November 24th, a half marathon in Rincón de la Victoria (http://tusinscripciones.es/index.php/ruta/x-media-maraton-rincon-de-la-victoria) 🙂
