Beautiful house with a great view.

A wonderful holiday in a little slice of paradise.

We where traveling with my family of 4 and our mother in law, who is in need of a walking aid. The whole terrain and villa is easy to walk. Just a few steps. Before we arrived we could ask any questions and the owner made sure the Villa was ready for us earlier then normal. On arrival the host was very helpful. And during our stay the communication was friendly. The Villa is compleet, clean, good beds, very nice view and great poolarea with bbq place. Perfect stay for us and we will definitely keep this villa in mind for a next holiday.

Family with two dogs We had a fantastic experience with this property. The owner was very welcoming and the home had all the essential you could need (from air conditioning, fire place, pool towels, bath towels to a paella and a complete kitchen with every dish/utensil you could need). The home was so clean also! The garden was well kept and the bbq area was fantastic with a sink and preparation area. Our favorite surprise was the portable speaker that was available for our use 😆

Great location. Quiet. Great view. Everything you need is there. Very clean pool. The toilet directly in one room is unusual, but there is a second one so you can get by. Overall, a very nice holiday home.

Enjoyed the beautiful garden and surroundings

Unfortunately, we had quite a bit of bad weather with high winds and rain. We spent a lot of time indoors and found the lighting inadequate for reading. We really wanted to like the cottage as we thought the owner was very kind and thoughtful but improvements could be made.

The villa has the most amazing location exactly as per the photos. The owner, Jose, is the most kind generous man who worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed. The views are amazing and matched our needs exactly for biking and walking the hills around.

We had a very peaceful and special Easter holiday in a beautiful, peaceful, cozy and beautiful environment. A big, sincere hug from Córdoba to Nani, the wonderful woman and owner. God bless her. We hope to return there as soon as possible, one day.

We went with a group of friends for the Easter weekend and everything was great. The house is very nice and although it was a bit cold outside, you didn't notice it inside. Highly recommended

A beautiful house, a beautiful and peaceful environment, the porch and the garden are amazing, we spent hours and hours there (and more than we could have if we could have). The house is very close to everything (by car) and is accessible by a paved road, so that is not a problem. And Cecilio, the owner, was super nice. It is a pleasure to have people like him around us. As an extra I would like to mention that during our stay a cat came to visit. My daughters fell in love with this cat and he became a member of the family for a few days. If you see her there, take good care of her, she is super nice and very grateful.

This was our second time here. We're always impressed by the beautiful outdoor area with its numerous seating areas and fantastic views of the mountain and lake panorama. The Cortijo also has a very convenient location. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful.

We are a young married couple and rented this beautiful villa for our honeymoon. This villa is beautiful and the owners Jesus and Veronica are very nice. The villa is fully equipped, you really don't need anything, everything is there, even a smart TV to watch Netflix if you want. The villa is very clean and the standard is excellent. Jesus gave us all the necessary explanations so that we could enjoy a perfect stay. In addition, he was very discreet during the whole trip. Zero compared to the rest, you are alone in the mountains and that was very important to us. The first time you take the small path to the villa, you may get a bit disoriented, but you get used to it quickly. In the evening, around midnight, we went back and we could take the path without any problems. It is best to use an automatic, this makes the journey easier if you are not used to slightly steep roads. There was no need for an SUV, I saw a Fiat 500 driving on the road without any problems. That's the price you pay for absolute peace and quiet, without anyone forgetting you. Anyway, I recommend this gem 1000x. Thanks again to Jesus and Veronica for this wonderful stay. We will definitely come back!

This was our second stay in this wonderful holiday home. Just like last year, we enjoyed the atmosphere and facilities this house has to offer from start to finish. The view is phenomenal and the remote location ensures total peace and relaxation. The owners Miguel and Lupe are wonderful people who do everything they can to ensure you have a wonderful stay. In short, highly recommended if you are looking for peace and relaxation and don't mind having to drive a bit to visit a supermarket, for example.

Warm welcome by Domingo and Josefía, beautiful place with fantastic views. A hiking paradise too. Nice seating area outside but perhaps a bit cramped for 6 people. We were with 3 adults and a baby and that was fine. Unfortunately the weather was not entirely good and it was quite chilly but there is a fantastic wood stove with a ventilation system that opens into every room. We therefore hardly had to use the air conditioning The beds and pillows were good. The kitchen was well equipped. Only the sockets and lamps were not ideal. Few and in strange places. No lamp at the dining table. No socket in the bedrooms by the bed except for the lamp Wifi worked fine All in all: highly recommended. Who knows, we might come back again

We would like to emphasize how beautiful the house is. It is fully equipped and equipped with all the comforts. It is only 15 minutes from the center of Granada and 5 minutes from the airport. The hostess is excellent. The house offers all the peace and quiet we were looking for.

A wonder. Beautiful view. Super finished house with everything you need to spend a few days with your family. It is a rural house, but it is very well adapted and you feel at home from the first moment. The owners have done a fantastic job combining the rural with the modern. We will definitely come back. Charming house with great views

They are a super polite family, super friendly and helpful. The house is super clean and in an incredible location, with spectacular views, and has everything you could need for a vacation. The house has every detail. Very easy to get to and very close to the town with excellent cuisine. I recommend the house 100%. In fact, we will definitely return.

We were there for the second time and would definitely book it again. We were with two families and a total of five children, who, just like the last time, had a great time with the many games that were present on the site.

I loved the number of routes that the environment offered.

The house couldn't be better. The location is excellent, in a super-quiet setting with unbeatable views, perfect for unwinding. The house is beautiful; it has everything! Javier, the owner, was attentive at all times and took excellent care of us. Thank you for everything!

Very pleasant and well-maintained accommodation. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Large terrace. Clean pool, but unsuitable for non-swimmers as it is only 1.6 m deep after the stairs. The place is quiet once you get used to the barking of the neighborhood dogs. To access the house, the rental car should not be too large, as the "road" is very narrow and the driveway is also narrow.

We enjoyed our stay, despite the weather being a bit changeable we had a great time. Especially the mini midget golf course was a nice bonus as the water of the pool was still a bit too cold to swim.

Returned after a year and again a fantastic experience!

We were a group of girls travelling for my daughter’s hen. There was 15 of us and we all had a bed each. We stayed in 2 of the villas. The kitchen facilities were great. Outside there is a lovely pool and enough sunbeds for everyone. There is ping pong, basketball and room for other sports.

We have visited many holiday homes, but nowhere were we welcomed as warmly as here. During our stay we were also surprised with nice gifts. The house is spotless and very well equipped and offers a 360° panoramic view. It is the ideal base to visit the many nice attractions in Andalusia. This is an absolute must!

Wonderful place to stay for walking, exploring and immersing in nature.

Great mountain views. House is on the top. Nice pool and seating places outside. Balcony with stunning view. Only downside is steep path leading to house. Lemons and oranges for free. Maria is very friendly, she gave us home made wine as well.

Great place for relax. El Torcal as background. Quality interior. Nice pool. Real fire ( we were given wood for free) . Good communication with owner. Only downside is path leading to house. It takes you approximately 5 minutes by car through Olive gardens, narrow path, no concrete at some parts of it. Local village not very interesting

Super accommodation. Plenty of space both in the house and the garden. 10/10 view of the sea from the terrace. All in all a brilliant place for relaxation.

Great view… wonderful peace and quiet, great house, great and hospitable host who guided us to the house, welcomed us and was always available to answer all our questions. There was even fruit, wine and water as a welcome drink. We will definitely come back.

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful rural house, in a very relaxing and peaceful setting, in the middle of the countryside, close to the reservoir and the village of La Viñuela. It's also close to Málaga city, about 50 minutes away, and the coast, about 30 minutes away. The house is well-equipped and furnished, quaint and stylish, and in the middle of the countryside. It has beautiful views, a small pool, and a lovely patio, a comforting place to relax. Anne is an exceptional host, respectful, kind, and attentive to every detail. Her welcome was very special, generous, and attentive. She has cats and dogs on her property next to the house; sometimes the beautiful kittens come to say hello. Access is via a cement and dirt track; it's not easy to navigate, but it's worth it because the house is surrounded by nature.

House is beautifully situated in the mountains with great views. Once you have driven the last part of the path (short steep part of about 50 meters) you will arrive in a true paradise of peace and comfort.

We enjoyed our stay with friends, the house was complete and the garden and pool lovely. 10 min from a large supermarket in Ronda and 50 min from the camenito del rey further there are beautiful villages in the area.

A lovely location and in immaculately clean condition. It is a mix of modern with a rural setting, which really works. It has lovely private spaces with added benefits of hot and cold A/C which was useful for our visit. Loved the heated pool, with easy to use cover. The views from the outdoor cooking area was lovely. Francisco could not have been more helpful, ensuring it felt like our home from home away on holiday. Loved the house, slightly off road experience to get there but nothing different to other rural houses we have been to before. Will be returning again. Top tip - don’t believe Sat Nav and go down the hill from the house :-)

If you want peace, privacy, space and the most amazing views, Villa ----- delivers! We enjoyed 10 days here and there is not a single thing we would change. It is exactly like the photos! The outside space is great with 4 different areas to enjoy; the Bali bed with views across the pool and to the sea, sun beds to enjoy sea and mountain views, ditto with the outside dining area and finally at the back of the house a lovely area to chill in the shade, with table, chairs and a hammock. To the side of the house there is a built-in BBQ with an outdoor kitchen (sink & worktop) and this is where the washing machine is located. The interior is very spacious with 3 bedrooms, the master with shower en-suite and a family bathroom (with bath) next to the twin and double room. There is air-conditioning throughout, with oil filled radiators for cooler months and a lovely wood burning stove fire in the living room. We enjoyed the massive smart TV in the living room and there is even an Amazon Fire Stick for you to log in to with your own account and watch Netflix etc. There may have been a sound system (highly likely) but it was not something we investigated. Sylvia leaves lots of (English and other languages) books around, so you wont run out of something to read. The kitchen is well equipped and you have everything you are likely to need, full oven and hob, microwave, kettle. There is a decent sized fridge freezer which is handy and allows you to do big grocery shops. There is a coffee percolator and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. I appreciated the stick/immersion/hand blender which I used quite a bit, a dishwasher likewise. Basic consumables were in the cupboards ready for us, dishwasher tabs, washing detergent, washing up liquid, cling wrap foil etc., as well as a toilet rolls for a few days. Your unsorted rubbish can be placed in any of the bin containers along the roads, which was convenient. The tap water in the area has a high mineral/lime content which may cause stomach upset if you are not used it – no problem, water is sold in all the supermarkets in anything up to 8 litres for only a Euro or so. We found the villa to be immaculately clean. Sylvia obviously has very high standards – well done and thank you Sylvia! Most people will wonder about the access, we certainly did. The honest answer is the last 30-40 metres of so is on a bit of a rocky track so you just have to drive a little tentatively. We managed easily. The driveway of the property is steep, short but steep. We opted not to bring the car down but chose to park at the top of the drive. We are a couple in our early and late 60s, one of us with arthritic knees and we managed fine. This is the price you pay to enjoy the stunning views and Villa ---- must win 1st prize in this regard! If you appreciate nature and walks, its all there, you need not drive anywhere. We walked between 3-5 km every day and each time yielded new discoveries, birds, insects and flowers, all in abundance! Some of the tracks are steep but there are many that are flat for a good part. (If you are into birdwatching you may be interested to know that we saw/heard the following species; Bee-eater, Blue Rock Thrush, Theklas’ Lark, Serin, Sardinian Warbler, Kestrel, Common Redstart, Willow Warbler, Bonelli’s Warbler, Melodious Warbler Black Redstart, Red-rumped Swallow, Stonechat, Crested Lark, Sedge Warble, Subapline Warbler, Sand Martin, Pallid Swift, Common Nightingale, Meadow Pipit and a Yellow Wagtail. All credit to the app Merlin for the identification). Finally, we have to mention Sylvia, our host whom couldn’t have given us a warmer welcome and was friendly and helpful at all times. Thank you Sylvia for a really lovely holiday. We will be back!

Cortijo ----- is a lovely spacious holiday home in a fantastic location. The outdoor area is especially great, greenery all around you, birdsong and a beautiful view of the mountains, sometimes even snow-capped (March 2025). The house is very basic, furnishings and facilities (partly) old/outdated, but that is perhaps also the charm of a casa rural. The bed was lovely, the shower excellent and the 5-burner gas stove worked well, the house clean and tidy, so the basic facilities were in order. Although mentioned on the website, the air conditioning in the living room was missing, and with it the heating, and that was sorely missed in the wettest and coldest month of March since 1962. Fortunately, there was a wood stove. Bags of wood available at hardware stores or gas stations (8.50 - 14.00 Euro per bag). With daily heating during a longer stay, that will add up quite a bit. Fortunately, Javier, the sweet and friendly owner, also brought us a basket of wood a few times. And also oranges, grapefruits and mangos from his own orchard. He really did his best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Unfortunately we were not lucky with the weather but fortunately the sun shone regularly and then Cortijo ---- is truly an idyll.

Great accommodation. A little tricky to find, but once we found it we were blown away by the location. Stunning. Loads of space in and outside the villa, in fact , as there were only 4 of us we felt the space was a little wasted on us. The accommodation was very comfortable, it had everything we needed. You can walk from the property to Frigiliana, it takes 30-40 minutes. It's not a flat walk, there are many steep climbs, but it is a beautiful walk. A good place for families and friends.

A complete house with everything you need. The location is beautiful but remote (approx. 10 min from Competa by car). Competa itself can be reached from the coast in approx. 30 min. via a very winding road. All in all a fantastic place if you prefer peace and quiet. The view from the terrace is great!

The villa was charming with a real traditional Spanish feel and in a beautiful location amongst the fruit and olive trees. The pool was a bit cold when we arrived but after a couple of hot days it warmed up a bit and we enjoyed a swim. The log fire was great for the evenings and it warmed the whole villa. The villa was very clean and the big bed very comfortable. It was a great place to relax and unwind, so we did! I would definitely recommend this villa and would like to visit at the end of summer one year. Sebastián was so kind bringing us loquats and oranges for juicing. We really enjoyed meeting and talking to him about the area, his farm and the birds we saw.

We had a great weekend!

Lovely house with a beautiful view. Everything you need is there. Access road from the main road is a bit adventurous, but we didn't mind. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is a fantastic location.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The villa was very clean and facilities amazing. Silvia the owner was always ready to take a text and responded FAST to any questions we had. The villa is in a nice area with local restaurants a short walk away and a lovely bakery where we had breakfast many times. The supermarket was also on the doorstep. If you like walking then the village is a 15 minute walk with many more shops and restaurants and a big Mercadona. We have children and one being just a baby so the cot was all ready and made up when we arrived and two high chairs and we also had the peace of mind of a gate on the pool which we used a lot.

We had a fantastic stay at La ------. Helena and Paco kindly let us check in a couple of hours earlier than I'd told them to expect us, and gave us a thorough tour of the property on arrival. The house itself is full of character, with everything we needed, and plenty of room for the 5 of us. Although given the time of year, the water was a little cold, the kids really enjoyed the pool, and the views from the terraces were fabulous. The cats that live around the property come and go, but are very shy around people, and didn't venture into the house at all. I'd recommend taking a car, as it is up quite a steep hill but it's only a couple of minutes drive from La Herradura, which has plenty of shops and restaurants. It is a great base to explore the area, and was an easy hour's drive from both Malaga and Granada. All in all, a great holiday.

i want to take a moment to thank you for such a wonderful stay at villa arenas . the property was absolutely beautiful and comfortable peaceful , very well maintained. i truly felt at home the owner were so kind welcoming and helpful throughout my stay , i had a lovely time and will carry great memories from my stay i would gladly recommend your villa to friends and hope to return someday myself

We were cold. Space is too big to get that really warm. It was a fantastic house, beautiful view, but in the period February March I will not rent it again so quickly.

A very neat, clean and logical villa in terms of the layout of the rooms, bathrooms and freedom of movement. The managers communicated excellently and treated us very well. The common areas are as described in the advertisement and we had a great experience. We will definitely come back.

Magnificent views of the mountains, the sea, or the surrounding orchards. High recreational value. Very pleasant and helpful owners, communication via a translation app. Only the last 3 km of the trail pose a slight challenge.

Good location, excellent service

We spent 2 weeks in the beautiful house with the breathtaking view. The owners welcomed us very warmly. Communication went smoothly thanks to translation tools. We would especially like to emphasize the excellent equipment of the house: everything was there: spices, coffee/tea, dishwasher tablets, shower gel, body lotion, even bathrobes and there were enough blankets to keep you warm when it was cold outside. We have never experienced anything like that. We also found milk, water, beer and wine in the fridge. We can recommend the house 100% and will definitely come back.

Very nice house with nice terraces and a beautiful view of the sea and the hills. The only thing missing are bowls or mugs for breakfast. The access road is in poor condition and needs to be made safer. Make sure you choose a vehicle suitable for the last kilometers! The host and hostess are very friendly!

Although the accommodation is not directly on a motorway, many areas in Andalusia are still easily accessible. It is a good idea to take some extra time for this, because the country roads are narrow, winding and often poorly paved. We did not have to drive on unpaved roads. Upon arrival at the accommodation you are welcomed by a beautiful new holiday home, which is beyond reproach. We did not mind at all. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the view of the green landscape. There are not many shopping facilities nearby. It is therefore advisable to take the presence of supermarkets into account during your excursions. In Antequera you will find the usual supermarkets with a wide selection. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and contacted us via WhatsApp. In this way the language barrier was removed. It was a wonderful week in all respects and we can highly recommend the holiday apartment.
