The view of the mountains is amazing. The pool is clean and well-maintained, and we were able to enjoy a nice swim in it in late April/early May. Quiet surroundings; there are neighbors, who were very friendly, by the way. The neighbor allowed us to pick apricots in her garden. Ideal family home, 15 minutes from shops, the town, and the beach, yet rural. Large garden that is well-maintained with various terraces. The separate bathroom with a bathtub was great. The beds were very comfortable.

We booked for late April and expected warmer weather and to make use of the great pool, but being in the mountains most mornings there was low cloud and quite cool so no pool. On ‘maps’ it also looked close to many towns, but the roads are very windy, quite small and traverse the sierra, often losing GPS signal or visibility in the early or later day clouds. Probably should have come later to appreciate the environment, pool, patio areas more. The house and the gardens are stunning with comfortable seating and fantastic privacy surrounded by trees and flowering bushes. The mountains are stunning too.

The accommodation was fantastic! Everything was there and the location was absolutely top-notch. What a view! The owner was very easy to reach (via WhatsApp, though only in Spanish; hooray for Google Translate!). The only downside was the jacuzzi. It was very dirty and smelled bad. We were unable to use it.

We stayed in this fantastic villa for 14 days. The great thing about this villa is the beautiful, spacious rooms and the incredibly lovely garden where the children could entertain themselves all day long. Additionally, the quiet location is also very pleasant. There is plenty to do in the area for a day out. Host Manuel is very friendly and extremely helpful.

We had a fantastic holiday. The location of the house on the mountain was beautiful, and the view was breathtaking every single day. As a hostess, Dolores was super friendly, caring, and attentive. The children enjoyed the swimming pool. The flowery garden with sunbeds, dining area, and BBQ was top-notch.

The spacious area around the house, with a sunbed for everyone around the pool, is very nice. There are so many play options for children of all ages. Alfonso is a good host who is easily reachable for questions.

The house is very comfortable and spacious; we were very comfortable there. It's very well equipped. Rosi left everything perfect for us, and Javier was very kind! I recommend it 100%.

Quiet and beautifully situated villa from which we were able to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful and varied surroundings. Communication with owner Miriam went well and she provided prompt service.

What a wonderful place to unwind completely. A beautiful view of both the mountains and the sea. The only sounds you hear are the birds cheerfully chirping and the silence around you. The swimming pool and table tennis table provide extra fun in between. A perfect spot for anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle for a while. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, peace, and a beautiful view. We would love to come back here again!

The house has a beautiful location on a hill, reached via a long private driveway. The peace and quiet here is delightful; the only thing you sometimes hear is the bell of a flock of sheep roaming through nature. The view of the surrounding hills is beautiful. The terrace and the covered BBQ area are truly fantastic; there is always a spot to sit, whether you want to sit in the sun or in the shade. The grounds around the swimming pool are lovely places to spend time. The pool is not heated, so it is still a bit chilly in April. The house has exactly everything you need. It is very clean both inside and out! The owners are very friendly and always available for questions.

The lovely outdoor area had everything: a swimming pool, BBQ, pizza oven, table tennis table, and much more. Inside, it was also spacious enough; you didn't have to get in each other's way. However, there was one problem for us, and that was the nuisance caused by the barking dogs; it goes on day and night.

We stayed in this beautiful villa during the May holidays with the four of us! Spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. The washing machine and dishwasher are ideal. Outside, there is a lovely covered terrace and a spacious garden with beautiful vegetation! The view is truly fantastic! The route to the villa from the main road takes about 15 to 20 minutes. It is a real mountain road, though. Some sections are quite narrow. The entire route is paved, though. An automatic car is absolutely recommended! The charming seaside town of Torro del Mar is nearby. Plenty of dining options and shops! The owner, Manuel, is incredibly friendly and helpful! Villa Paraiso is highly recommended!

Lovely little place to relax and unwind. Grounds are beautiful with little areas to explore. The road in is a little tight like a lot of these places but you get used to it, no major problems. I was wary of the payment method, but you don't need to be, the owner is the loveliest guy. The town.... you make your own mind up, several other nice towns a little drive away. Breathtaking views everywhere.

The house is spectacular and incredibly comfortable, and the surroundings are breathtaking. The pool and the lawn at the back are beautiful. The house is perfect for any kind of party, event, or just a cozy get-together with friends or family. We were absolutely delighted, and so were our guests. It was a true delight. Pilar and Álvaro are both fantastic hosts. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

Josefa and Pepe are excellent hosts – friendly and quick to help when needed. The house has character, is very well-equipped, has all the latest technology, and above all, is clean. A highlight is the large pool and the well-maintained grounds with a variety of beautiful plants, some quite old, which look as if arranged by a landscape architect. Those who prefer a livelier atmosphere can head to Conil, while those who prefer to dine among locals will find plenty of opportunities in the many ventas (traditional Spanish restaurants) in the area. A car is essential.

Do you have children and would you like to be able to relax for a while yourself? With all the facilities this house offers, that is certainly possible! Highly recommended for every family! Moreover, the owners are very sweet and caring people.

The owners were very kind, down-to-earth, and attentive. They always asked if we were happy and if we needed anything. The house was tastefully and comfortably furnished. As a welcome gift, they left us a bottle of wine, bottled water, and a present for our son.

Villa Horizon fully meets the expectations of a wonderfully spacious holiday home with all desired facilities: 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom, a beautiful kitchen, dining room, and living room. And then there is a very beautiful outdoor area with seating areas and a swimming pool. Not to mention the beautiful view.

Incredibly sweet and helpful owners. They respond quickly on WhatsApp. They only speak Spanish, but luckily there is Google Translate. Do keep in mind that you have to drive an average of 30 to 45 minutes for activities.

It is a holiday home situated among orchards, featuring avocado and citrus trees, among others. We received delicious lemons and nisperos for free from a neighbor. Although it is a ‘basic rural home’, the house has a fine kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning, a garden with sun loungers, and a swimming pool. It is within walking distance of the center and the beach (20 min).

Excellent, superb service. A very beautiful and spacious house, well-equipped and with amenities nearby. Special mention goes to the kindness of Miguel and his wife; they were both wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back!

The complex is spacious and accommodates larger groups or families. The owner is exceptionally kind and hospitable. Everything is clean, but not as beautiful as the photos show. The Jacuzzi is not working. The swimming pool is nice and warm, but the cover no longer moves properly. The house is secluded, so there are no shops within easy reach. However, it is beautifully centrally located between the major cities in Andalusia, all accessible for a day trip.

Relaxation and tranquility

A verry nice house with a nice view. The road to the house was not in a good condition, but when driving slowly and with a good car you get used to it.

Beautiful surroundings, did a lot of walking. The walk from Competa to Caniilas de Albaida and back via the ridge is highly recommended. The nature reserve near Fabrica de Luz is absolutely fantastic, and the walks there are definitely recommended as well. Frigiliana is worth a visit. Furthermore, we mainly visited Competa for restaurants and groceries. Restaurant El Pilon is definitely recommended. For paella, order the day before or in the morning.

We had a another wonderful stay in the beautiful countryside. No words can describe the sun set and views. The area is breathtaking and check in was hassle free and very welcoming. Speaking spanish is a good advantage.

The holiday home is truly beautiful, it has everything you need, there are shops nearby, a fantastic beach with a promenade, we had a very relaxing stay.

It was a wonderful 10-day stay at Eric's house in Sayalonga at the end of April. There were eight of us. The heated pool, the jacuzzi, the view (600 meters), the silence combined with the cheerful singing of countless birds, and the house itself were all amazing. Our three children and their partners often spent hours chatting in the jacuzzi in the evenings. The pool and table tennis tables were also used regularly. We arrived late on the first day, but Eric arranged a spot for us in Sayalonga where we had a truly excellent dinner at 10:15 PM. A place we won't forget. Malaga, Granada, Ronda, etc., are easily accessible by car. There are plenty of beautiful walks and sightseeing opportunities in the area. Eric is an excellent host and does everything he can to make your stay enjoyable.

I discovered Ruralidays by chance and I was not disappointed. They had a very wide selection of holiday homes and offered excellent customer service when planning my family trip.

Joaquín and his family were incredibly kind and provided exceptional service and thoughtful details. The house is very well equipped and the view from the terrace is breathtaking on both sides. The surroundings are beautiful and there is no shortage of activities.

This place was perfect to big family vacation. The place itself was much more beautiful than in the advertising photos. We definitely want to visit again sometime in the future.The only strange thing was that the owner was always there, cleaning and watering the flowers, and when I asked him not to take those chairs back to their place, we're eating downstairs, he didn't listen to me and just kept taking them. I felt bad for daring to move the chair, and it was in the middle of the holiday not at the end. But everything else was perfect and I highly recommend it for large families or groups.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities are good, and the outdoor area is particularly pleasant. We were also able to use the pool frequently in April.

What a wonderful place this is. So quiet, clean and cute. We’ve got great days in las Alpujarras. And more the less because of the hospitality of the owners. We can recommend this lovely finca and hopefully the next guests can also enjoy the best hotspots in this area.

Wonderfully private and we highly recommend it.

A beautiful, clean, and well-maintained house and garden! However, it is next to an 8-person house where two families with 4 children are staying who were screaming terribly! A nightmare for us as peace seekers.

Beautiful location with a nice swimming pool and all facilities available. It was a pity, however, that the water in the pool was still too cold to swim in, even when it was over 25 degrees. It is quite a drive to various beautiful places, and a larger supermarket is also a 28-minute drive away in Antequera. There are many dogs in the area that bark a lot, especially in the evenings.

Lovely holiday home in Nerja. The house is situated in a quiet location, about 2 kilometers from the center and the beach. Very spacious house, with 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (plus a separate toilet). The garden was incredibly beautiful and large, including, of course, a lovely swimming pool. A great place to visit Malaga for a day, as well as Granada. Highly recommended!

Antonio is a super host and responds quickly to messages. In our case, the shower wasn't working properly, so he came by quickly with a plumber to get it fixed. He only speaks Spanish, but we managed just fine using Google Translate. The path leading to the house is very steep and narrow by Dutch standards; it can be quite nerve-wracking.

Fabulous location. Amazing views of mountains and the white villages. Accomodation was clean and spacious. The pool was great ( even in April) and the basketball court was a big hit with kids. A comfortable place to relax after days exploring the hills, coast and villages.

The house is beautifully situated and has a lovely infinity pool. The beds are also comfortable. You can pick lemons from the private garden. One tip: rent a car that isn't too low to the ground. The drive there is just that little bit nicer.
