We had a wonderful stay at this house. It truly offers an authentic countryside experience, and everything was spotless. We can only imagine how perfect it would be during the summer season. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always quick to respond and help with anything we needed. We’ve shared a few minor suggestions regarding the off-season, but overall, we are very happy with our choice. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We spent four weeks at Sergio and his family's house, from mid-February to mid-March. It is a lovely house in a nice location. Not too high in the hills, not too far from the coast. The house has everything for a comfortable stay, as if it were your own home rather than a holiday rental. Basic kitchen items such as oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, and spices are also readily available. The house has good heating facilities in the form of both air conditioning (in both the living area and the bedroom) and a large pellet stove. This pellet stove is not mentioned in the house description, nor are there any photos on the website, but it is relevant to know. We used the pellet stove in the evenings and it was very cozy (bags of pellets are available for purchase at the Eroski hypermarket in Torre del Mar). The house is bright, particularly because a large skylight has been installed (on the east side). Furthermore, the extra space attached to the bedroom is the house's biggest bonus. A room with floor-to-ceiling glass on two sides, with two lounge chairs (only one is shown in the photos) and a view of the sea. It is lovely to watch the sun set over Torrox Costa in the late afternoon while enjoying a glass of wine. The bed is relatively narrow but is very comfortable. Almost every day we were able to have breakfast outside on the covered terrace. At this time of year, the sun still shines through the canopy, making it pleasant very quickly (even at temperatures of 12 to 13 degrees). From the house, it is about a 5-minute drive to the main road that runs along the coast. Part of the road down is paved, but in poor condition and quite narrow on a small section, and part is unpaved, as is the case in many places in the region once you turn off the main roads. We were not bothered at all by the highway the house overlooks. Sergio took good care of us. He can be at the house within 10 minutes if necessary. Communication with him went excellently, partly in English and partly with the help of Google Translate.

A truly beautiful holiday home! Breathtaking views of Frigiliana and all the way to the sea, with several terraces. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking independently. The best route for us was to go through Frigiliana and then reach the house from the north.

A lovely holiday home near Marbella. Nestled away in a small village about 20 km from Marbella, the cottage is very well equipped. The owner is extremely attentive to your well-being, notably by offering fruit and avocados from his own garden and by responding quickly to all your questions and/or requests. The house stays very cool on hot days and also very cool when the weather is bad. Be aware that the house is also quite dark. A car is essential to reach the property. The last 100 meters are on a dirt road.

Beautiful cottage for a maximum of two people

Quiet surroundings, fully furnished. Truly authentic, which is really nice; good bed and garden furniture are fine too. It is quite a distance to the shops in Coin, though. So a car is necessary. At the roundabout exit for Guaro, you can head towards Rio Grande; it is a really beautiful route. The owner is very hospitable, gives you space, doesn't intrude, and regularly brings fresh fruit from his own garden, which was delicious by the way. We had a very good holiday; if you like peace and quiet, this is highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely holiday home. The house is situated in a quiet location in the Andalusian hills. It is the perfect place to relax and an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. Everything was beautifully maintained and tastefully decorated. The owner is very friendly and attentive. We felt completely at home and would love to return.

From the house, we took very diverse day trips covering both culture and nature. Antequera, Ronda, Granada, El Torcal, El Chorro, Jardin Botanico.

Very spacious house, the patio is very large with several distinct areas. Eugenia was very friendly and made our stay as easy as possible; highly recommended, and we will definitely return if we have the chance.

We rented this house for 5 weeks in February/March and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings, the lovely house, and the beautiful terrace with a sea view. Nerja is a few minutes' drive away; there are large supermarkets and many restaurants there. We also really enjoyed the walk to Nerja along the beach. Communication with the owner went very well. We will definitely come back again!

The cottage where we stayed was truly fantastic. Lydia and José were very friendly and attentive. The cottage was extremely complete. From all the amenities on the terrace and around the pool to the very well-equipped kitchen. Absolutely everything has been thought of. Nice bathroom with a good shower, good beds, and fine furniture in the living room. There are actually no downsides to be found.

A group of friends and I went and had a great time. Because of the temperature, we lit the fireplace. The house has a kitchen, dining room, and living room that's perfect for spending quality time together.

The house is very spacious and comfortable, and if you are traveling with young children, it is also very safe because the pool is located in a separate, enclosed area and the barbecue, for example, is covered, which is a real plus in bad weather like we had. José was also very friendly. And the surroundings are beautiful! A truly ideal place to relax.

Very nice property in the middle of nature, but close to a "White Village" where you can get everything you need (supermarket, petrol station, restaurants, bars, etc.). The property is well maintained and clean with a well functioning AC which is useful in summer but works as heating in winter (when we visited). Great possibilities for hiking (next to a GR and the Camino Mozarabe de Santiago and to the Torcal Nature Reserve. The beautiful town of Antequera and the city of Malaga, as well as many beaches are easy to reach. The access to the house can be challenging as the last 2km are on a gravel road which was not well maintained due to the heavy rains in February 2026. We had a great two weeks.

As always, everything went perfectly from beginning to end 👍 We had an unforgettable stay at Villa Olivo. José is an exceptional host, always available and attentive. A huge thank you for everything!

A trip with three families, including young children and babies. The house was very well-equipped, but without Wi-Fi we couldn't connect the baby monitors. We liked the new furniture, and although it rained, the outdoor area was wonderful for families. We enjoyed the pool, sun loungers, and football pitch, but we wished we could have used them more. The landlady is exceptional—a straightforward, down-to-earth, and incredibly friendly woman.

A very spacious and inviting living room/kitchen. A large and very well-maintained outdoor area with all kinds of furniture and amenities. It's ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside, getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The views are beautiful. The price is very affordable.

Cortijo La Umbría is an excellent option for a weekend getaway if you're a group of families. The house has many bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, and plenty of space. It's great for families with young children. The owner, Cayetano, is delightful and made our stay unforgettable.

Very nice house with a fine terrace/pool and superb view. However, stays in winter period is a problem. The only heating in living-room was a wood stove and it was not easy to work with. We were freezing a bit on the cold days.

Our hosts guided us and were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout. They even gave our dog water. They are exceptionally kind; we had to extend our stay by a week, and they helped us with everything, showing genuine empathy and dedication.

The property is beautifully designed and very well maintained. José has landscaped the garden fantastically, and you can see how much love he puts into his property. José is polite, very helpful, and exceptionally friendly. The wood-burning stove made heating the house easy. The interior design of the house is very clever and thoughtful. The conservatory is fantastic, even in cooler and windy weather. When the sun shines, there are several sun loungers and a lovely pool to cool off in. The mountain views and the hiking opportunities are an absolute dream for nature lovers. We will definitely be back and will recommend José's property to everyone! We had a wonderfull 4 weeks stay here. It is a cosy and Well maintained house. It is very clean and We appreciated the basic things in the kitchen and bathroom. The house and the lovely and quiet outdoor space is as shown on the pictures, and We enjoyed it very mutch. The house was easy to varm up during feb. We loved, that there only is a 2 km. Walk to Frigiliana and lovelig walks in the surroundings.

Very friendly and helpful landlord

My husband and I spent February at the villa. This was the longest break away from the UK that we had tried. The villa is very comfortable, clean and with all kitchen appliances. The patio area near the pool is modern with a nice barbecue/kitchen area. Manolo and Lola are great hosts who are very easy to contact with queries. We thoroughly recommend the villa and have already booked for next year!

The access road is worse than last year. There are large potholes and holes. But the house is fantastic! Beautiful sea views and sunshine all day on the terrace. Comfortable beds, and the house is fully equipped.

The house is spacious and peaceful, with a stunning view. There are many charming villages in the area. Vélez-Malaga is a slightly larger town 20 minutes away, convenient for grocery shopping.

We spent a fantastic week at Manolo's house. We especially enjoyed the beautiful view, the terrace, the excellent amenities, and the friendliness and helpfulness of Manolo and Maria. They were always easily accessible and ready to answer all our questions and requests. We were especially pleased with the fresh avocados, tomatoes, and oranges that grew right next to the house and tasted delicious. We would love to come back!

This was our third long winter break at the villa in Guaro. Despite some exceptional extreme weather,once again, the villa was very comfortable, The well-maintained outdoor space with its extensive views continue to impress and we were grateful for the thoughtful and helpful support of the owner. Inside, the property was clean and spacious, with plenty of hot water and good appliances. We would recommend this property.

This spacious villa is on the outskirts of Nerja, accessed via a 2 km rough and winding road from Nerja. It is a beautiful and quiet setting. It is well equipped and would suit 2 families or groups of friends.

Fantastic villa in Conil. The amenities were exactly as described. The pool was usable even in February, although the water was, of course, very cold. The villa's location is unbeatable. Conil, the beaches, and various local attractions are all within easy reach. Communication with the owner was very smooth. He answered all our questions promptly and gave us excellent advice for excursions. A wonderful holiday, even in February.

A very good experience, the house is well-equipped for many people and the surroundings are beautiful. We had a problem with the heating in some of the rooms and they came to fix it right away; the guy was very helpful with everything.

Lovely villa tucked away between Coin and Guaro. We stayed in January and so it was very quiet. Property is pretty much as described and the photographs on the website are very accurate. Living room and bedroom are large for two people and the kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. Outside the garden is surrounded by fruit trees and is quite private. The pool iswell kept although a little chilly in January! Host is perfect! Kind and generous. Many reviews talk about his visits with fruit from his farm and co-operative. Visits are discreet and not in any way intrusive; he's very aware of the need for guests to have privacy. He was very available - living just a few minutes away. We had a couple of problems with the TV and WIFI which were very quickly resolved. Property is very Andalucian. You definitly need a car if stopping here. You can only really walk from the property to the main road where there is then a small garage/shop. Great place, great host. Would recommend and visit again

When we returned, the sun was shining and the view was magnificent! Unfortunately, the weather changed and clouds enveloped us. Luckily, we had brought enough supplies and were able to settle comfortably in this secluded spot.

We rented this house for a few weeks, and it's a lovely place to stay. It's fully equipped. The location is great and easily accessible, although you do need to get used to the local area a bit, as you have to drive through the village. This house is also great to stay in during the winter, as it has a very good wood-burning stove. The owner is friendly and regularly checks on everything, and if there's anything, he's always there to help.

Immaculate, clean, and perfectly equipped, it's exceptionally beautiful, with refined decor and a privileged location, ideal for relaxing and recharging your batteries. We loved the house. So satisfied were we that we even extended our stay by a week. The access, partly via a dirt track with a few potholes, is perfectly manageable. Inside, the furniture is modern and the rooms are bright thanks to their large windows. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast in the armchairs overlooking the surrounding landscape. A small pellet stove provides pleasant warmth and a cozy atmosphere. The internet connection (100 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload) is sufficient for working. Unfortunately, the bedroom door is sliding and doesn't soundproof, which makes working difficult. We were lucky enough to meet the very friendly owner, even though the rest of the booking was handled by a very professional agency. The owner was very helpful. We would gladly return.

It's a lovely little house; the pool was lovely with sun loungers, but it was too cold for that. The surrounding area is beautiful, and we enjoyed lovely walks around Orgiva. Orgiva itself is also charming, with a market on Thursdays. From here, we could easily go to Malaga or Montril for a beach or city walk.

A very nice house where you can have a wonderful time. There is a supermarket, bakery and butcher around the corner, as well as several cafes and restaurants. The beach is wonderful and you can walk or run for miles to the next villages.

We had really nice time in villa with our family and we felt welcome. Thank you for oranges, they were really tasty. Beds were very wide and comfortable. The yard was big, sunny and there was everything that we needed.
