The accommodation is superbly located, surrounded by nature and very close to the town of Montefrio. The host was wonderful and incredibly understanding, as he had to wait quite a while because the ATM in town where we were going to withdraw money wasn't working. He also explained all the things to do in the area. The house is fantastic because, besides being huge, it's very well laid out. It has a pool area, large tables, a barbecue… with beautiful views. We will definitely return.

The home and surroundings are beautiful. Daniel and Asuncion were so kind, always available for advice and gave us a big box of fruit and veg from the garden. We travelled with a baby and the accommodation had everything we needed (cot, highchair). The location is great - short driving distance from lots of activities / places to visit. We will definitely consider coming back.

We really enjoyed our week here and would definitely come back. We were 4 adults and 3 young children, the youngest being a toddler just over a year old. So the cot and high chair were good, and the fenced access to the pool was essential. The house is traditional rather than very modern, but clean and well equipped, and in a lovely quiet setting. The access road is narrow, but we soon got used to it. The owners were very helpful, and we loved the ripe mangoes and cherimoyas which they left us.

A superbly equipped finca nestled amidst endless olive groves. No neighbors as far as the eye can see, an absolutely peaceful and secluded location. The Sierra Nevada mountains rise on the horizon, and in the evenings, the lights of Granada twinkle. Jose lovingly cares not only for his animals—numerous birds in two aviaries behind the house, a large enclosure with chickens nearby, a flock of sheep and three horses, several dogs and cats (the mother cat even brought us her kittens 😻)—but also for the well-being of his guests! He's immediately available to help with any problems and wherever he can. Thank you for everything, Jose! We were welcomed with homemade olive oil and exquisite pastries from Alhama de Granada. Anyone who vacations here has found a piece of paradise.

We had a wonderful holiday at the house. The route there is mountainous with winding roads, but that's exactly what you expect when booking in this area. The house itself is easily accessible via a paved road. The local supermarket is small but has most amenities and is close to the house. A larger supermarket (Dia) is about a 10-minute drive away. A Mercadona or Carrefour is a 30-minute drive away.

Good accommodation. It's a mountain road with lots of twists and turns when we were going to Fiengirola, but the house was quiet.

We've stayed here three times and would book again without hesitation. Antonio and his family are excellent hosts and are always available to answer questions or help with any issues. The accommodation is exactly as described, and some renovations were done last year. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay and felt right at home. We will definitely be back.

Great house, great location.

We had a wonderful week in the house. The weather was simply perfect. It's also great that the key is left behind, allowing for stress-free check-in. Cleanliness was absolutely fine, apart from minor things like cobwebs, which didn't bother us. The location is fantastic; the beach, as well as the center of Nerja and its shops, are all within a 10-minute walk. The view from the roof terrace is lovely, but it lacks a certain coziness; this could easily be remedied with some cushions. The outdoor bathroom is beautiful, while the main bathroom inside the house is small but adequate, although the doorknob definitely needs replacing. The kitchen could be a bit better equipped, but it's perfectly sufficient. We missed having some seating in the backyard, but that's a minor issue. I can absolutely recommend this house.

Great location with a beautiful garden!

Overall, a lovely house with plenty of outdoor space and a very clean pool and jacuzzi. The interior was also spotless. The dogs barking at night are a bit of a nuisance (mentioned in some other reviews). It's also somewhat inconvenient that the three separate beds in the attic don't have doors, so it's not very private (this is certainly a structural issue, but I couldn't tell from the photos). The outdoor kitchen with a grill and another large refrigerator is fantastic. Plus, the lounge area offers a great view of the mountains! Another plus. Despite the somewhat remote location, a rather nice beach is about a half-hour walk away.

We loved our stay in this place! Very peaceful and the views to the Andalusian mountains and valleys were spectacular. It is very well equipped for cooking (though it was a surprise not to find any basics like handsoap, olive oil or salt so we had to buy these for a week's stay). Positives: -amazing pool with hydromassage -garden with amazing fruit and vegetables -amazing Bali bed available to sunbathe -Netflix on tv Challenges: It's the countryside so expect to see all sorts of animals and insects. We encountered many many ants in the last few days and had to keep all food, including bread, in the fridge. The road to get to the property is a bit risky and we had a big car so it was challenging but after a few trips back and forth we got more comfortable. Would love to be back. Overall it was amazing. The views were magical and we already miss them! Also, the host was kind enough to let us do late check out.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. What we liked most was the garden. We were traveling with kids, and we had a great time. I recommend it if you're looking for peace and quiet. The location is also great.

Both the handover of the house on the day of arrival and the inspection on the day of departure went smoothly. Juan was an excellent host. The outdoor area is simply fantastic; there are so many cozy spots to relax and enjoy the unique view.

Casa ------- is a dream! A beautiful, traditional house with spacious accommodation for a family. The outside space is amazing...a large terrace plus pool (still fine to swim in October) and surrounded by avocado and lemon trees. 2 mins walk to the beautiful village of Frigiliana (nice restaurants and shops) and a short drive to Nerja centre and beach.

The house is very clean and well-equipped. The pool looks bigger in the photos, but the view is incredible. The path leading to it is breathtaking.

Lovely cottage, beautifully situated. Spacious and well-equipped for both rainy and sunny days. All amenities were provided, such as oil, baking paper, water, (swimming) towels, and sheets, so we didn't need to bring as much. The owners are incredibly friendly and gave the cottage an extra warm atmosphere. There were toys and books for small children, which was a nice surprise. In the mornings, you can admire beautiful sunrises and at night, stunning starry skies. The beach is a short half-hour drive, but the pool was still wonderful in October.

The lovingly landscaped garden, the pool, the terrace—and the sea view—were the highlights. The house itself is spacious and well-designed. The landlord was very friendly, offered tips for excursions, and responded quickly to any problems. The road to the house is paved, but the size of our rental car made it challenging. Otherwise, the location is great; you can quickly get to the highway or go shopping.

We spent a wonderful vacation of almost three weeks here. Communication with Francisco was excellent. He was very friendly and available via WhatsApp at all times. The house has everything you need. It is very clean and functional. The outdoor kitchen and pool are in very good condition. The magnificent views of the sea and mountains complete the vacation. We highly recommend this fantastic house. Many thanks again to Francisco for the vacation in this villa.

The villa's outdoor space is unique. There's a beautiful, perfectly maintained pool and fantastic views. The villa is spotlessly clean and fully equipped. The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped, and we spent almost all of our holiday outdoors. The foosball and pool table were also great options.

Manuel was a fantastic host. The house was in a beautiful location and offered fantastic views. The drive to the house was a bit adventurous, but we definitely made it. We felt very comfortable and would love to return.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very neat, child-friendly, and clean. The view, the pools, and the orchard were fantastic. It's wonderfully peacefully situated in the valley between Cómpeta and Torrox. The mountain road leading up to it was easy enough for us; it's well-maintained, and everyone drives quietly and is considerate of each other. The spacious covered terrace allowed us to enjoy the outdoors all day long.

The owner, Jose, is very friendly and always available. He tries to explain and arrange everything as best as possible upon arrival. The location is beautiful, but you will need a car as there is nothing nearby. The accommodation is clean and well-equipped.

This holiday met the expectations raised in the advertisement on all counts.

The cottage's garden is beautiful, with a pool right next to it. The cottage itself is fine, but the amenities could be improved. For example, there was no kettle or oven, and the shower got cold quickly.

A small cottage with everything you need. Very friendly, polite, and helpful owners. Excellent value for money. The house is situated on a hill, about 15 minutes from Torrox Pueblo. The views and tranquility are absolutely fantastic. However, a car is essential! We would rent it again without hesitation.

Malaga is extensive and not just the centre. We started off in Malaga centre with an overnight stay. Had a one night stay in Ronda, Estepona and Benalmadena and spent two weeks in Gaucin, experiencing the bull run during our stay. The white washed mountain village is lovely with friendly people and good restaurants nearby.

The accommodation was 100% as described, and we felt completely at home. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy, and the amenities were excellent. The view is truly breathtaking, and I enjoyed the sunrise every morning on the terrace. The drive to the house is a bit challenging, but manageable. That's the price you pay for the views, peace, and seclusion in this area. There are several options, but for us, the route from the north was the most pleasant ;) In short, a wonderful holiday that unfortunately ended far too quickly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this beautiful holiday home. We were there with our three children, who also loved it. The house is secluded, surrounded by nature, and the access road, though a bit bumpy, is worth the short effort (but it's really good and takes about 10 minutes). Besides the location and the amenities, we also appreciated Lola's hospitality. Fantastic and highly recommended!

A wonderful stay in a stunning newly built, and well furnished, architect design house away from the town centre with space and views, but with a golf club opposite offering lunches if you don’t want to cook. Antequerra is a very convenient location to explore Andalusia with Malaga, Granada and Cordoba all easily reachable plus many villages and towns to visit also. A relaxing base for a holiday.

The property is lovingly furnished and equipped. Our host, José, was very friendly and helpful. The view and atmosphere are incomparable. We felt incredibly comfortable and will definitely return. Everything is there. You won't want for anything. Admittedly, the road leading to the property isn't easy, but after two or three drives, it becomes passable. We highly recommend a 4x4.

Francisco's welcome was very warm. He was always there at the agreed time. The journey from Torrox to the casa was along a winding but well-maintained mountain road. From the mountain road, we took an off-road route to the casa. You should definitely enjoy winding roads. The view, however, was fabulous. The casa is equipped with everything you need. We felt at home, and Francisco was a very attentive host.

We had the best holiday in the perfect house. The owner met us late due to flight delays and he couldn’t have been more welcoming. He messaged me to see if we needed food as the shops were closed due to the national holiday the next day. We have never had such a kind and thoughtful villa owner before. The house is in a perfect position with stunning views all around. You couldn’t have asked for more regarding the facilities inside and out. Top marks Juan Jose! Thank you.

Beautiful week with a splendid view of the mountains in this large house. We were a family of 8 with 3 generations and appreciated having our privacy at certain times. Great pool, outdoor kitchen area too. Some improvements to be expected regarding the light fixtures and odor problems on the top floor.

It was a very nice stay, except for the pool problem.

It was the first time I'd stayed in a country house with my family, and the experience was fantastic. The house was beautiful, with everything we needed. It had five bathrooms, which was a real bonus. The setting was perfect. I mustn't forget to mention José Luis; his kindness and help made everything so easy. Thank you so much for everything. The whole family enjoyed your house, and the grandchildren had a wonderful time.

The owner is very friendly and resolves any issues immediately. We had a problem with the electrical system, and she fixed it in no time. The house is very quiet, but Conil is just a short drive away. A large supermarket and numerous restaurants are also nearby. The highlights are the lovely swimming pool and terrace. We felt very comfortable.

We were able to move into our apartment right away. That was nice.

It was a fantastic experience. The house and the surrounding area were ideal for relaxation. The town of Cómpeta was wonderful in every way. Francisco, the owner, was a wonderful host, and the accommodation was perfect for unwinding and switching off. Any adjective I could think of wouldn't do it justice.

Manolo gave us a warm welcome, despite some communication difficulties, as we unfortunately don't speak Spanish. The finca is located in a secluded area, making it ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The road to get there is a bit adventurous, and the track is narrow and unpaved, but definitely manageable. Once you're there, you'll be rewarded with a fantastic view! :) The finca is excellently equipped, and we lacked nothing. It's clean, tidy, and well-maintained. We had a wonderful holiday, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this finca.

Very neat location with a spacious garden featuring various fruit trees, several outdoor seating areas, and a nice little garden bar. A few more comfortable lounge chairs would have been welcome. A small swimming pool is wonderfully refreshing! The location is beautiful with mountain views.

Great service from the hosts. Plus, you can tell this is a house you live in, not just rent. It had everything we needed, and we were very relaxed and very comfortable. 10/10, and we'll definitely be back! ------------- More details: - It's a 5-minute drive from the town on a paved road (a steep incline, though). - The drinks fridge can be turned off with a button behind a cover on the top front. - There's a drip coffee maker (there are filters there), good pans, and all kinds of utensils. There's a hairdryer in the bathroom. - All the windows in the house have mosquito nets 👍

We were made to feel very welcome and were given lots of useful information on places to eat etc. with a lovely welcome pack home grown mango’s and some lovely Rioja The villa was stunning. Ideal for a family of 4 as well as a couples retreat. Very remote, peaceful, and relaxing. We will definitely be making a return to Villa --------

The location of the holiday home is very good with a very nice view.

A well equipped and maintained property with wonderful views of the mountains and the coast. Very peaceful and tranquil location. Nearby Competa is charming with a good selection of small supermarkets and cafes. Excellent walking trails from short local walks to long distance hikes.

The nearby town of Mijas is within walking distance, and the towns of Fuengirola, Málaga, and Torremolinos are not far away. The Mijas and Anoreta golf courses north of Málaga are very nice.

We loved the relaxing and peaceful location of this property. It was exactly what we were looking for. The outside space was large with different areas to enjoy - the pool with sun loungers, an outside dining area and also a lounging area. It was so quiet and the view was amazing. It is a rural campo location so yes access is via a windy road up from Torrox and narrower roads once at Competa but the roads were no problem at all - definitely worth it if you are looking for a quiet location with lovely views. It was great to be able to bring our dog who enjoyed the garden areas also. The property is well equipped with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. It was clean with all furniture and appliances well maintained.
