The house is fantastic, the beds are exactly like yours, and everything is very clean. If you are looking for a house to relax in without being disturbed, then this is the perfect house for you.

The house is superb, although I would choose a different time of year in the summer to fully enjoy the outdoors. Its orientation creates a microclimate, generating strong drafts. The location is magnificent, the view is splendid, but you are completely surrounded by countryside, and you encounter animals I'd never seen before. Personally, I found it difficult to walk my pets without using the car. The amenities, the house, and the furniture are fantastic. Furthermore, the welcome kit is a very thoughtful touch.

The house, situated on a hillside in the second row from the road, offers breathtaking views and is equipped with all the comforts needed for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The furniture is very comfortable, and each room is tastefully furnished and decorated. You can't hear a thing from the street; each room has its own unique charm and invites you to linger. We would love to return.

Frigiliana is a beautiful village with plenty of bars & restaurants, all enclosed within stunning scenery in every direction. We also used the accommodation to travel to other areas within the Costa. Malaga town, Seville & Granada. We enjoyed the slightly inland aspect in the hills but it was only a short bus ride to the beach in Nerja, which you can see from the property anyway. The property is well maintained and has all amenities for your use and Jesus, the owner is on hand if you require any further info. Coming out onto the patio, with the first coffee of the morning and seeing the views is something we will miss.

The views from the house, both of the mountains and the sea, are absolutely breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the place. The house is very well-equipped; we lacked nothing. The infinity pool is undoubtedly one of the highlights. The owners are very friendly!

We searched for a suitable accommodation for extended family to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. This came up and fit our needs perfectly providing ample accommodation and facilities for us all to. Be comfortable and enjoy. The location is nothing short of idyllic with some of the most impressive views I have seen. Within easy reach of many much of the regions attractions by car, but with local supermarket and restaurants on the doorstep. The en suite rooms were beautiful and the kitchen/dining and leisure facilities fantastic.

We stayed at Francisco's beautiful vacation home from January 17 to March 28, 2026. After being picked up at the agreed meeting point, we went to the house together. The fireplace was already burning, and we received a detailed explanation of the property. Despite the occasional bad weather during the first few weeks, we generally had a wonderful time. We would like to thank Francisco warmly and hope to see him again soon.

Our stay at the finca was fantastic. It was a secluded and absolutely peaceful place. My wife and I spent some unforgettable days there. The finca was superbly equipped. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare delicious meals. The finca was spotlessly clean. The pool was magnificent. There was an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, a ping-pong table, and plenty of sun loungers. We particularly enjoyed the large double sun lounger. As we were at the finca for almost three months (from mid-January), there were naturally a few cooler days. However, the heating kept the finca warm and comfortable, allowing us to enjoy pleasant evenings in front of the television. We are now returning home in mid-April and have wonderful memories of the finca, of Verónica and Jesús, who took such good care of us and made our stay so relaxing. If life allows, we will definitely return.

We spent a few days in this country house in Casarabonela and, overall, the experience was very positive. The location is excellent, ideal for disconnecting and enjoying the surroundings. The house is spacious, with many rooms, making it perfect for large groups or families. It also has two bathrooms, a definite plus when traveling with several people. Outside, the swimming pool and barbecue area are undoubtedly the highlights of the house, perfect for relaxing and enjoying pleasant moments. Parking is also available, which is very convenient. Another advantage: all the rooms are air-conditioned, an essential feature during the warmer months. In short, it's an option we highly recommend for its amenities and comfort.

What can we say that hasn’t been already said Guillermina was the perfect host. Her villa is absolutely perfect for what we wanted , a private holiday , where we could choose to relax or venture out. The villa itself is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. We would love to return again in the future

A wonderful, quiet, and welcoming place. Close to the town center and with other accommodations nearby, which provides a bit of peace of mind in case anything happens. The owner was very attentive and helpful. We loved our stay.

Very friendly owner. Everything was arranged immediately. The location is truly Spanish and very cozy. The fireplace was a particular plus. The only downside is that it is much colder in the winter months and can be very windy at the top of the mountain. But the view makes up for a lot.

Beautiful holiday home in a fantastic location. The access road is a bit tricky, but manageable for experienced drivers. The grounds are lovely and very well maintained. The kitchenware and towels could use replacing. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Communication is only possible in Spanish. During our stay, the gas boiler for hot water broke down. Miguel arranged for a temporary solution and oversaw the repair, which was completed two days later. The house is definitely recommended in the summer. In March, the nights were quite cool, so the pool could only be used partially, and the house was difficult to heat with the existing heating system. However, the views were so beautiful that it was worth it despite everything.

A fantastic place to stay; we loved it. Francisco provided us with fresh tomatoes, oranges, and avocados. The accommodation has everything you need. The views are breathtaking. The road to the accommodation is a bit rough, typical of the region, but easily manageable in a regular car.

Once again we found ourselves in Sunny Alhaurin. Sadly I wasn’t at all well on this trip but the kindness and care and support from our wonderful host family made it all the more bearable. They went as always above and beyond and made sure we had everything we needed to get us through. Looking forward to another visit in June fingers crossed in good health this time to truly enjoy this fabulous finca and all it has to offer

We had a very pleasant stay. The house is beautiful, well located, and exactly as described, which explains the many positive reviews. A few minor points could be improved for optimal comfort, especially in colder weather. It was quite cold during our stay (which is normal in the mountains, between 5 degrees Celsius in the morning and 12 degrees Celsius in the afternoon), and the heating, which was not on upon arrival, proved somewhat inadequate for a large, poorly insulated house; some windows no longer close properly. (There are three extra heaters.) The fireplace, an old insert, does work, but could be improved as smoke comes out of the fire. The owner was kind enough to bring us some firewood to start with, even though it was wet, because they had not estimated the temperature and knew that it would be 12 or 13 degrees Celsius inside the house upon arrival. We were then easily able to buy more firewood in the village. Another downside is that the neighbors' dogs can bark all night long. Furthermore, we were able to explore the surrounding area easily and visited Córdoba, Granada, Málaga, El Torcal, and Ronda. Finally, communication was difficult due to the language barrier, but this did not prevent us from enjoying our stay. We did not have the host's contact details, meaning we could not reach him despite our requests to Ruralidays. In short, a pleasant experience in beautiful surroundings, but keep in mind that it can be difficult in cool or humid weather.

We had a very pleasant stay at this holiday home in Malaga. The property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the outdoor space, which made our stay very enjoyable. Overall, it was a great place to unwind and we would happily recommend it to other travellers.

We have been spending our winters in the area of Neja, Frigiliana, and Torrox for twelve years, in various fincas, and have now finally found our absolute favorite. We will stay here if we may.

I cycled on the grounds here. All the access roads are very steep and almost impassable for cycling, so keep that in mind. The house is very beautiful and clean, with a stunning view.

A beautiful holiday home with a fantastic outdoor space that offers lovely spots at any time of day and in any weather. The pool and basketball hoop are great. The interior is also very inviting, and the kitchen is fully equipped. So even if you don't feel like barbecuing, you can prepare other delicious meals there. Francisco was always easy to reach and did everything he could to ensure everything was to our complete satisfaction. If you are sensitive to noise, it is definitely recommended to bring noise-cancelling headphones due to air traffic. They helped me relax enormously, despite the noise.

Beautiful accommodation. Well-equipped accommodation. Quiet surroundings. Beautiful view. Friendly host. You will have some lovely days here. Take note that the road to the house is steep, narrow and with quite a few holes in the road. You can some times meet other cars or trucks on the small road. But you get used to it, it's not unusual for the area if you want to live away from the busy tourist areas.

The journey is an adventure, as the road is only partially paved. Nevertheless, it is passable. The view and the location of the house are fantastic. The sun shone from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Travel dates: March 10–24, 2026.

We've stayed in many rural houses, and this is undoubtedly one of the best. Every corner shows the love and care that went into preparing it. The surroundings, nestled in nature, and the tranquility are simply incredible. The house is beautiful, meticulously maintained, and full of little details that make it special. The cleanliness is impeccable, and everything has a soft, pleasant aroma that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. But what truly makes it unique is the hospitality of Pilar and Riccardo, the hosts. They are attentive, kind, helpful, and very welcoming, always making sure everything is perfect. A 5-star rating doesn't do it justice. We don't just recommend it… we'll definitely be back!

House located in the Axarquía region with spectacular views. Clean and well-maintained, very well-equipped, nothing was missing, or at least, we didn't miss anything. Large barbecue area (2 barbecues). The friendliness and helpfulness of the owner made our weekend unforgettable. We will definitely come back.

The owners, Paco and Toñi, were incredibly hospitable. The house is perfectly situated, about 5 minutes from the village. It is wonderfully quiet there. We wanted to take a walk that Toñi had recommended, but because it was raining, we stayed inside and enjoyed the fireplace. A weekend was not enough; next time we will stay a whole week.

The finca is located just outside Frigiliana, about a 20-minute walk away. In return, you get peace and quiet, a magnificent sea view, and sunshine all day long. We found the accommodation even better than in the photos!

Lovely and clean house with a beautiful view. Ideal for peace seekers. Reasonably centrally located (about 1 hour / 1:30 hours by car) for cities like Malaga-Ronda and Cordoba, and close to El Torcal. Helpful and very friendly hostess, her husband, and daughter. We were unlucky with the weather at the beginning (low temperature), which made the cottage a bit colder, but with the help of an extra heater, it was fine.

Very close to Malaga, with good access and a peaceful setting. The house clearly shows signs of having been lived in and lovingly cared for. It has a lovely rustic decor; it's not your typical tourist house or something overly artificial. It has practically everything you could need, including air conditioning units in the living room and bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, there's a dishwasher, plenty of beds, good heating, a very pleasant living room, and a spacious and beautiful outdoor area (with artificial grass). Diego is also very friendly, attentive to detail, and a wonderful host. We were very comfortable and would definitely recommend it. 5 stars!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It truly offers an authentic countryside experience, and everything was spotless. We can only imagine how perfect it would be during the summer season. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always quick to respond and help with anything we needed. We’ve shared a few minor suggestions regarding the off-season, but overall, we are very happy with our choice. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We spent four weeks at Sergio and his family's house, from mid-February to mid-March. It is a lovely house in a nice location. Not too high in the hills, not too far from the coast. The house has everything for a comfortable stay, as if it were your own home rather than a holiday rental. Basic kitchen items such as oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, and spices are also readily available. The house has good heating facilities in the form of both air conditioning (in both the living area and the bedroom) and a large pellet stove. This pellet stove is not mentioned in the house description, nor are there any photos on the website, but it is relevant to know. We used the pellet stove in the evenings and it was very cozy (bags of pellets are available for purchase at the Eroski hypermarket in Torre del Mar). The house is bright, particularly because a large skylight has been installed (on the east side). Furthermore, the extra space attached to the bedroom is the house's biggest bonus. A room with floor-to-ceiling glass on two sides, with two lounge chairs (only one is shown in the photos) and a view of the sea. It is lovely to watch the sun set over Torrox Costa in the late afternoon while enjoying a glass of wine. The bed is relatively narrow but is very comfortable. Almost every day we were able to have breakfast outside on the covered terrace. At this time of year, the sun still shines through the canopy, making it pleasant very quickly (even at temperatures of 12 to 13 degrees). From the house, it is about a 5-minute drive to the main road that runs along the coast. Part of the road down is paved, but in poor condition and quite narrow on a small section, and part is unpaved, as is the case in many places in the region once you turn off the main roads. We were not bothered at all by the highway the house overlooks. Sergio took good care of us. He can be at the house within 10 minutes if necessary. Communication with him went excellently, partly in English and partly with the help of Google Translate.

A truly beautiful holiday home! Breathtaking views of Frigiliana and all the way to the sea, with several terraces. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking independently. The best route for us was to go through Frigiliana and then reach the house from the north.

A lovely holiday home near Marbella. Nestled away in a small village about 20 km from Marbella, the cottage is very well equipped. The owner is extremely attentive to your well-being, notably by offering fruit and avocados from his own garden and by responding quickly to all your questions and/or requests. The house stays very cool on hot days and also very cool when the weather is bad. Be aware that the house is also quite dark. A car is essential to reach the property. The last 100 meters are on a dirt road.

Beautiful cottage for a maximum of two people

Quiet surroundings, fully furnished. Truly authentic, which is really nice; good bed and garden furniture are fine too. It is quite a distance to the shops in Coin, though. So a car is necessary. At the roundabout exit for Guaro, you can head towards Rio Grande; it is a really beautiful route. The owner is very hospitable, gives you space, doesn't intrude, and regularly brings fresh fruit from his own garden, which was delicious by the way. We had a very good holiday; if you like peace and quiet, this is highly recommended.

It is the perfect place to relax and an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. Everything was beautifully maintained and tastefully decorated. The owner is very friendly and attentive. From the house, we took very diverse day trips covering both culture and nature. Antequera, Ronda, Granada, El Torcal, El Chorro, Jardin Botanico.

Very spacious house, the patio is very large with several distinct areas. Eugenia was very friendly and made our stay as easy as possible; highly recommended, and we will definitely return if we have the chance.

We rented this house for 5 weeks in February/March and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings, the lovely house, and the beautiful terrace with a sea view. Nerja is a few minutes' drive away; there are large supermarkets and many restaurants there. We also really enjoyed the walk to Nerja along the beach. Communication with the owner went very well. We will definitely come back again!

The cottage where we stayed was truly fantastic. Lydia and José were very friendly and attentive. The cottage was extremely complete. From all the amenities on the terrace and around the pool to the very well-equipped kitchen. Absolutely everything has been thought of. Nice bathroom with a good shower, good beds, and fine furniture in the living room. There are actually no downsides to be found.

A group of friends and I went and had a great time. Because of the temperature, we lit the fireplace. The house has a kitchen, dining room, and living room that's perfect for spending quality time together.

The villa was peaceful and quiet. Nerja and it's environment is very nice and meets our needs for our holidays.

The house is very spacious and comfortable, and if you are traveling with young children, it is also very safe because the pool is located in a separate, enclosed area and the barbecue, for example, is covered, which is a real plus in bad weather like we had. José was also very friendly. And the surroundings are beautiful! A truly ideal place to relax.

Very nice property in the middle of nature, but close to a "White Village" where you can get everything you need (supermarket, petrol station, restaurants, bars, etc.). The property is well maintained and clean with a well functioning AC which is useful in summer but works as heating in winter (when we visited). Great possibilities for hiking (next to a GR and the Camino Mozarabe de Santiago and to the Torcal Nature Reserve. The beautiful town of Antequera and the city of Malaga, as well as many beaches are easy to reach. The access to the house can be challenging as the last 2km are on a gravel road which was not well maintained due to the heavy rains in February 2026. We had a great two weeks.

A trip with three families, including young children and babies. The house was very well-equipped, but without Wi-Fi we couldn't connect the baby monitors. We liked the new furniture, and although it rained, the outdoor area was wonderful for families. We enjoyed the pool, sun loungers, and football pitch, but we wished we could have used them more. The landlady is exceptional—a straightforward, down-to-earth, and incredibly friendly woman.

Cortijo La Umbría is an excellent option for a weekend getaway if you're a group of families. The house has many bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, and plenty of space. It's great for families with young children. The owner, Cayetano, is delightful and made our stay unforgettable.

Very nice house with a fine terrace/pool and superb view. However, stays in winter period is a problem. The only heating in living-room was a wood stove and it was not easy to work with. We were freezing a bit on the cold days.

Everyyhing was fine. Beautiful place and ppl. Weather in february is bearable. I cant imagine what temperature is in july.

Our hosts guided us and were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout. They even gave our dog water. They are exceptionally kind; we had to extend our stay by a week, and they helped us with everything, showing genuine empathy and dedication.

Very friendly and helpful landlord

My husband and I spent February at the villa. This was the longest break away from the UK that we had tried. The villa is very comfortable, clean and with all kitchen appliances. The patio area near the pool is modern with a nice barbecue/kitchen area. Manolo and Lola are great hosts who are very easy to contact with queries. We thoroughly recommend the villa and have already booked for next year!
