The house is beautifully situated and has a lovely infinity pool. The beds are also comfortable. You can pick lemons from the private garden. One tip: rent a car that isn't too low to the ground. The drive there is just that little bit nicer.

Fabulous location. Amazing views of mountains and the white villages. Accomodation was clean and spacious. The pool was great ( even in April) and the basketball court was a big hit with kids. A comfortable place to relax after days exploring the hills, coast and villages.

Spacious villa with plenty of privacy. Beautiful swimming pool and ample space. With comfortable sunbeds. A car is necessary, though. Contact with Ruralidays went very well.

Antequera is in the center of Andalucia, which allowed us to visit Cadiz Almeira through all major cities. When we arrived, what a surprise and what a pleasure to see that the house is in the center of a large olive grove. It contains everything you need for a pleasant stay. The owners are lovely and little care and are worth knowing.

We absolutely loved the house! It was truly beautiful and spotless. The pool was lovely, with a barbecue and tables for group meals. Everything was very practical, with a sink and fridges on the terrace. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and eating indoors. Everything was brand new. The sheets and mattresses were new; the house was impeccably clean. Our hosts were amazing; they welcomed us until midnight and gave us a tour of the house. We highly recommend this house and would definitely come back.

Superb villa with a swimming pool. Very comfortable bedding. The villa is very well equipped. Close to Malaga. The garden is magnificent with orange and lemon trees. Ping-pong table and foosball table. Summer kitchen. We had a wonderful week as a family.

Large house, which was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Good WiFi. Excellent views of the Sierra de Grazalema summits from the rooftop garden. Judith was a friendly and responsive host. The complementary ham, wine and cheese was appreciated. This proved to be an excellent base for a walking holiday.

We had a wonderful week. The road leading to the house is quite narrow, but once you get to the top, you will find that it was totally worth it. Manuel is a very sweet host; we felt very welcome.

The house has a truly fantastic location, ideal for a family with two children. It features a beautiful swimming pool, a cozy interior, and lovely sunny and shady outdoor spaces. We enjoyed beautiful walks around Frigiliana and often cooked or barbecued at the house, as it was so nice to relax on the terrace in the evenings. For four adults, it would be too small for my taste, with only one bathroom. And the route there using GPS was quite an adventure! We had to wade through a riverbed.

The house is simply perfect. Six spacious bedrooms with air conditioning and heating, and superbly equipped outdoor areas including a BBQ, swimming pool, and paddle tennis court.

The accommodation was perfect, very clean and spacious for us. The house had an incredible, breathtaking view that we never tired of. It was well located, just a few minutes from a village with restaurants and small shops. Julio and his family were very kind; we thank them for their warm welcome and the lovely little welcome gift! We would gladly return to Julio's.

The location is great if I put aside the 5 km dirt roads. The view from the yard is magnetic to keep you at the property for relaxation. One doesn't need to go anywhere if looking for serenity and calmness. Nothing in surroundings give a different feeling. It was a wonderful experience.

Maria and her husband treated us wonderfully. They were very attentive and kind. The house has all the comforts, is clean, and has a great location. It was a pleasure staying at their house! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at La Higuera in April 2026. The house is terrific with beautiful amenities, and is excellently equipped. The location is perfect for getting away from it all. From start to finish the experience could not have been better and our hosts were just fabulous. Their flexibility and kindness added hugely to our stay and were greatly appreciated. This villa was perfect for us - we were playing in a local women’s walking football tournament. 5 bedrooms , pool was great , good value for money , couldn’t fault it. And very clean with good facilities.

We stayed in this cottage for a week in April and had a very pleasant experience. The cottage was clean and fully equipped. Additionally, the view is beautiful and you can walk to Frigiliana in no time. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and will definitely come back here again!

We were a family in Andalusia and were looking for a quiet place to spend quality time together. The house is situated in a somewhat secluded mountain area, yet is very easily accessible. The nearest town is just 15 minutes away, where you can go shopping or engage in other activities. The house is in excellent condition and offers every conceivable comfort. The view of the surrounding area and the sea from the terrace and the balcony of the master bedroom is truly breathtaking. We would love to come back! The wonderful impression is further enhanced by the owners, who are very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again.

A fabulous property up in the hills behind Torrox with great views

The villa is fantastic, but getting there isn't exactly easy.

A fantastic house. The pool was great, the sofas comfortable, the TV large, the kitchen well-equipped and very clean, just like the rest of the house. But above all, the view. A spectacular place. Rocío and Rubén were very kind and charming. They made sure we felt at ease the whole time. A true pleasure.

The villa was spotless. Location was stunning, so peaceful and not overlooked by anyone. Had the sun all day from 8am through to almost 8pm. Lots of different areas to sit around the grounds. The track down to villa is small but we are used to small lanes and it was rare that we met someone coming the other way. Kids enjoyed the pool and table tennis.

A perfect house for a large family – comfortable and spacious. And very well maintained. Ideally located to explore Andalusia.

A lovely house with a magnificent view

Booked for a weeks holiday with my wife and mother to relax and explore the area, The accommodation was great value as was the pool and various outside areas to follow or avoid the sunshine. Torrox and the coastal towns are a delight for beaches and dining. Driving and traffic was easy, well served by the A7.

The accommodation and location were both exceptional. The privacy and atmosphere of the rural setting provided a truly serene experience. Our host was incredibly attentive and caring, ensuring every detail was looked after. We had a wonderful holiday as a family, and the children especially loved the friendly local cats that would stop by for a visit.

Our family of five spent a few days in this beautiful house. It has a fantastic living room where you can relax at any time and charming bedrooms with a typical Andalusian atmosphere. The pool was already filled in March and everything was perfectly maintained. The surroundings are beautiful and ideal for walking. In the village of Cómpeta, you will find everything you need, and you can buy pottery and other handmade items there. It was absolutely wonderful!

Excellent location surrounded by nature with spectacular scenery. We had a problem with the water and they fixed it instantly, which was very much appreciated.

We came with several families of twelve people. The house was cold in April, but the owner brought us firewood. The pool water remained cold even in April.

Everything was amazing

We stayed at this accommodation for only two nights, but we would have loved to stay longer. The house is perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay, and the barbecue and the veranda with the ping-pong table are a real bonus. We played there for many hours every day. The rural surroundings are very quiet and ideal for relaxing, surrounded by olive trees and with a breathtaking view of El Torcal. Finding the accommodation was very easy.

A wonderful getaway. It's difficult to find a comfortable house for so many families and children. We didn't need to leave the accommodation. Antonio, Gema, and Manuel were incredibly kind to us.

Very nice location and very friendly owners. Shops nearby. There should be a few more activities for the children. Badminton equipment and a ping-pong table. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Lovely house, but not easy to reach (bad and narrow road up)

We've stayed in many luxury properties over the years, and the difference is almost always in the details. This villa got them all right. The location is peaceful and private, despite having neighbours nearby, the isolation is excellent and you genuinely don't hear a thing. The pool area is beautiful, with a lovely jacuzzi section. Inside, the villa is modern, comfortable, and genuinely well-equipped. We're used to high-end properties where the kitchen looks great but lacks the basics when you actually want to cook. Not here, everything you could possibly need was available (they could add some oven gloves and a blender to make it perfect), and that made a real difference to our stay. Great beds, a high-pressure modern shower, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, it's all there. The bedrooms/beds are on the smaller side compared to some luxury stays we've had, but perfectly comfortable and well thought out. Also there they have good compartiments to arrange your clothes. What truly elevated the experience were the hosts, Desirée and Antonio. Warm, professional, and genuinely helpful, they went well beyond the standard host role. Every step of the process, from booking through to arrival instructions and getting there, was seamless and professionally handled. Not a single moment of confusion or friction. We would recommend this villa without hesitation and would absolutely return. If you're looking for a well-equipped, peaceful retreat with hosts who actually care, this is it.

Nice accommodation, beautiful view, well-maintained. The children loved the pool table. The village of Frigiliana is worth a visit (dining tip: Bar El Boquetillo Streetfood). We also visited Nerja (beach) and the Fábrica de Azúcar de San Joaquín de Maro (photo spot!). I can also highly recommend the walk along the Acequia de Lízar.

We had a fantastic few days. The farmhouse is excellent (equipment, cleanliness, spacious) and the surroundings are wonderful. We definitely recommend it. And I must mention that Inma is very friendly and kind; she treated us incredibly well. Thank you so much!

Our stay at this lovely family home was fantastic. The house is fully equipped and has a beautiful view of the mountains. There is so much to do and see in the area that you won't have enough days. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the lovely swimming pool, even though it was still freezing! On the last day, there were even more visitors to the pool due to the rain: a whole family of frogs! In short, highly recommended for anyone looking for peace and relaxation.

A perfect experience in Macharaviaya. The host was very kind, attentive, and responsive, and she was very flexible in ensuring our comfort during our stay. Highly recommended.

We had a peaceful stay. The track to the villa is quite challenging. The villa has lovely views but is quite basic in many ways. The kitchen didn't have all we would require for cooking. The WiFi didn't work on arrival which is a problem as we had no mobile signal as the villa is in the bottom of a valley. Miriam was fantastic, responded immediately and was able to have it fixed by late the next morning.

Lovely villa with all the amenities you need in a perfect location between Torrox Pueblo and the coast. You cannot wish for a nicer and more helpful host than the owner, Antonio. The combination of Google Translate, WhatsApp and his little electronic translation device made communication a breeze. We stayed in this villa for 84 days, mid-January until mid-April. Unfortunately the south of Andalusia experienced the coldest and wettest winter and that negatively impacted our stay. The photos on the website are obviously summer-season ones, but winter renters need to be prepared that they can hardly use the pool as well as the sunbathing area. Even the beautifully furnished front porch was too windy most of the time to enjoy. Such a shame because the whole place is just gorgeous and well designed.
