Holiday home for 10 people in Zahara de los Atunes, Province of Cádiz, Andalusia.
A few steps from the Camarinal Lighthouse, on the famous Playa de los Alemanes (Atlanterra), stands this new construction certified as Passivhaus. Possibly, together with the adjoining property, the villa with this southernmost certification in all of Europe.
Its architecture follows two essential design premises: orientation and accessibility.
Its orientation perfectly combines the ideal solar conditions according to the PassivHaus model and the extraordinary views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Strait of Gibraltar.
The accessibility stands out for the construction of a ramp that runs through the interior of the house connecting the house from the basement to the upper floor.
The main floor stands out for being an open space that is extended thanks to the glazed access to the porch. On this floor we find a spacious and comfortable living room studied in detail, a fully equipped kitchen and also with access to the outside; a toilet that serves the floor and a bedroom with a dressing room and bathroom en suite.
The upper floor, accessible by stairs or ramp, has four more bedrooms. A suite with its own bathroom and dressing room, two double rooms with a separate bathroom that serves both, and a fourth guest room with its own bathroom. With the exception of this fourth room, the other three units have access to a large and pleasant terrace with views of the sea and the wonderful Camarinal Lighthouse. The sunsets from here are a luxury.
The basement begins in the open with the ramp for vehicles that gives access from the exterior of the property to the interior of the house. We can find a large covered garage for two vehicles and a laundry area. Access from the basement to the rest of the house is the same as for the rest of the floors, through the stairs or the ramp that runs through the different levels of the house.
