Holiday house for 8 people in Alcaucín, in the province of Málaga, Andalusia.
It is truly an amazing place. Not only because the house is very well situated between Alcaucín and Zafaraya, but also because it offers more than your average holiday home. The house is tastefully and brightly decorated and is very spacious. It is surrounded by a very large terrace/garden with a wonderful pool, a unique outdoor kitchen and last but not least a relaxing sauna in an annex. The house is surrounded by nature although only 5 km from bars, restaurants and shops. It is a unique place to disconnect, relax and enjoy. The views over the valley are truly breathtaking and bring peace and beauty to our guests. Even in winter you can enjoy the many sunny days that this region offers.
When you pass the front gate there is a 2 car carport. The large terrace and the garden (pick your own citrus!) surrounding the house have 3 seating corners, 2 of which are covered. Next to the house is the summer kitchen with barbecue, sink and spacious living room. For cooler days you can close this outdoor kitchen with transparent canvas and continue enjoying eating outdoors. There is a large swimming pool with sun loungers, parasols and an outside shower. In an annex in the garden, our guests have at their disposal a sauna with private toilet and shower. (Please note that the use of the sauna is subject to a surcharge).
It has 3 bedrooms with incredible views of the mountains and 2 fully equipped bathrooms (1 of them en-suite to the main bedroom), a hall with a reading corner, a spacious and beautiful living room decorated with comfortable armchairs, a wood-burning stove and a very large kitchen. well equipped open plan dining area. The living room has large windows that offer views of the beautiful nature that surrounds it.
There is a washing machine, FREE WIFI and smart tv. All windows have shutters and mosquito net.
Everything our guests need for a carefree vacation is provided by us. Bed, bath and kitchen linen, cot and high chair if necessary. Electricity, water and final cleaning are included in our rental prices. (only with special reduced prices for monthly rentals in low season, electricity is not included)
The construction and orientation of the house keep it quite cool in summer and warm in winter. That is why the owners chose not to install air conditioning. There are ceiling fans for the hottest days and a great fireplace for the cooler evenings. Each room has its electric heater. Solar panels provide hot water.
If you wish to bring your dog, we ask that you check with us first. The entire plot is gated, making it safe for your pets, but please note that we do not allow pets without prior consultation and an accommodation fee must be paid.
The views from the house are truly spectacular. It is located near the beautiful and typical Andalusian town of Alcaucín, which is located at an altitude of 508 meters. It is located on the slope of the imposing Sierra Tejeda, with views of the Axarquía region and the Zafarraya Gorge.
In the hamlet of Puente don Manuel, a 5-minute drive away, you can find bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, a bakery and an excellent butcher shop.
Alhama de Granada with its magnificent views, walking trails and medicinal health spa is only 27 km from the villa.
A 30-minute drive takes you to the award-winning Torre del Mar beach. Ideal for spending a day by the sea. On the way, you pass a large shopping center with supermarkets and shops.
Malaga, the incredible city of the Costa del Sol, birthplace of Pablo Picasso, cultural and gastronomic paradise is only 1 hour away by car.
All the tourist highlights of Andalusia are easy to visit during a day trip. Granada with the world famous Alhambra, Córdoba and the unique Mezquita, the stunningly beautiful Caminito del Rey hiking trail, Ronda the spectacularly perched village, and much more.
It offers more than your average vacation home due to its location, space, and sauna. If you love nature, relaxation and enjoying the good life, this cozy and well-appointed villa could be the perfect vacation spot for you.
The access lane is unpaved, characterized by curves and slopes, typical of the mountainous area where the house is located.
