Beautifully restored flour mill with a private pool, located in the tranquil Andalusian countryside. Surrounded by olive groves, fruit trees, nature, rivers, and mountains, and just a 60-minute drive from Málaga airport and a 6-minute drive from the typical white village of Periana, where you will find all the local shops and necessary services for a perfect stay. Suitable for families, friends, hikers, and walkers to explore or simply relax and unwind in this unique and peaceful getaway.
The Mill is a historic building that was once a bakery supplying bread to the local community. It has been restored, retaining many original features, such as the original machinery and bread oven, which give it a wonderful atmosphere and rustic charm. The property has 10 steps leading to the main bedroom with a bathroom, the upper gardens, and the pool area.
The house has a front entrance with a terrace and seating area. Through the front door is the kitchen, living room with wood-burning stove, and dining area. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, as well as a bathroom with a sink, shower, toilet, and bidet.
Ascending 10 steps, there is a double bedroom and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, shower, toilet, and bidet. On this upper level, a door provides access to the dining area, terrace, pool, gardens, and seating areas.
All windows have mosquito nets. Fans are provided in the summer months. Heating is available in winter. Pets are allowed, by request only.
Guests have their own private entrance and access to the mill house with a private garden and pool. The owners live in the adjacent building and respect their guests' privacy at all times but are available whenever needed.
The access lane is concreted, characterized by bends and slopes, typical of the mountainous area where the house is located.
