Holiday house for 10 people in Salobreña, in the province of Granada, Andalusia.
It is a beautiful and spacious Spanish-style villa, located in the upper part of the El Monte de los Almendros Urbanization. This means the views are stunning.
Upon entering the property, a large porch will welcome you, on the right side there is space outside where you can park at least one car and another inside the garage closed to the outside, on the left side there is a small terrace with views, which It is located next to the exterior door of the kitchen, this is the anteroom to the garden area, where a large pine tree presides over the surrounding land of the house and the pool area.
As soon as you enter the villa, the feeling of spaciousness is very evident, the high ceilings with wooden beams, the spacious living room and the light that comes in through the large windows, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The spacious living room has a built-in wood fireplace to enjoy those nights with a blanket and sofa, during the few cold months of the year. At the back of the living room, a large L-shaped terrace has unparalleled views of the sea and the mountains, part of the terrace is glazed and has a comfortable terrace set, the other part communicates with the kitchen, on this terrace there is a Great table to enjoy a delicious meal or other activities with family and friends. On the main floor there is also a bathroom.
The kitchen is also located on the main floor and is fully equipped, the kitchen furniture and the beautiful wooden beams of the ceiling give it a rustic touch, here you will enjoy cooking with regional products recently purchased at the local market. From the kitchen you can directly access the large terrace with views that connects with the living room and another smaller terrace with views that overlooks the entrance to the garden.
The villa has a total of 5 bedrooms, going up one floor there is 1 bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a dressing room, the bed is made up of 2 90 cm mattresses together, the bed base is articulated so that each side can be adjusted individually, others 3 bedrooms are located down a few steps from the main floor and share a bathroom, one of the bedrooms has a King size double bed, in the lower part of the house there is an apartment with 1 bedroom, a bathroom with a dish shower and a small kitchen with a breakfast bar that leads to a small living room with a sofa bed, from here a large window gives access to a small terrace from which you can access the garden and the pool area. Each room has hot and cold air conditioning, so your comfort is guaranteed all year round, it also has radiators and ceiling fans in some of the bedrooms.
The exterior of the villa has a lot of privacy and is made up of the pool area and a beautiful garden that partially surrounds the house, with plenty of space to enjoy nature, in the lower part of the garden you can find a wide variety of fruit trees. The pool area offers stunning views of the sea and the mountains, the pool has an irregular shape, there is an outdoor shower in this area, being next to the garden you can choose whether to have a sunbath or enjoy a peaceful nap after cooling off in the pool.
The urbanization where this house is located has a recreation area. Guests have free access to common areas: tennis court, paddle tennis court, swimming pool, children's pool, soccer field and playground.
The beach, restaurants and shops are less than 10 minutes away by car. Access to the airports of Malaga, Granada or Almería are easy. If you manage to get away from this wonderful house there are many things to see and do in the area, such as the Sierra Nevada ski resort, where you can enjoy beautiful walking and hiking routes. Sierra Nevada is less than 75 minutes away, so from November to April you can ski in the morning and relax at the beach or pool in the afternoon. The picturesque mountain towns of Las Alpujarras are also nearby, as are the beautiful cities of Granada and Malaga.
The town of Salobreña, to which Monte de los Almendros belongs, is located on the Tropical Coast of Granada. Salobreña enjoys a subtropical microclimate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of more than 20 degrees Celsius.
