Nice apartment in the urbanization 'Atlanterra playa' on the beach (direct access to the beach of Atlanterra). Being a semi-frontal and being on the third floor with no buildings in front or to one side, it offers spectacular views of the sea and the mountains and valuable privacy. It is a very bright apartment thanks to its orientation, which allows it to receive the sun until approximately 5 pm. It consists of two bedrooms (capacity for 5 people), two bathrooms, living room, kitchen and a nice terrace. It is a very sunny apartment. The urbanization has beautiful gardens, very large swimming pools, paddle tennis courts and children's games. It has a garage space included in the basement for one vehicle. Nearby you will find the beautiful beaches of Los Alemanes and Los Cañuelos. Zahara is a small and picturesque fishing village located in a paradisiacal environment. You can taste the local specialty, tuna, in its typical restaurants. You can visit the town of Vejer, 15 km away, located on top of a mountain with a network of Arabic-style streets .. You can also take a route through the famous white villages of Andalusia . The city of Tarifa is located 25 km away and from there you can travel to Africa (Tangier) in half an hour. 30 km away are the ruins of Baelo Claudia (2nd century BC) on Bolonia beach.
Zahara de los Atunes is a charming town that deserves to be enjoyed and also the environment leaves no one indifferent and will allow you to enjoy an unforgettable vacation.
ACTIVITIES OF INTEREST: The apartment is located on the most important route of migratory birds from Europe to Africa; you can see all kinds of birds throughout the year.
You will be able to contemplate at certain times of the year, the ancestral almadraba (artisanal way of fishing for tuna).
This fish can be tasted in its restaurants, cooked in a very varied way but always with a surprising flavor that leaves no one indifferent to it.
Horseback riding will bring unforgettable moments to your vacation.
VISITS: Due to its proximity, you can visit Tangier, and its well-known souk, through the Ferry.
30 minutes by car or taking an unforgettable walk, you will find the beautiful beach of Bolonia, where the Roman city of Baelo Claudia is located, which dates back to the year II BC. Its existence is mainly linked to trade with North Africa. Fishing, the salting industry and Garum (a sauce derived from it) were the main sources of wealth. The Emperor Claudius (41 - 54 AD) granted it the rank of Roman municipality.
The most representative elements that constituted the essence of a Roman city are preserved at the site.
You can also visit the city of Tarifa (approximately half an hour by car). located in the southernmost tip of the European continent. The current predominance of outdoor sports (wind surfing, skysurfing) have made Tarifa an incomparable setting.
