The majestic 2011 Hammam Aire belongs to a franchise, whose Arab baths are located in many cities all over the world. In Almeria, it is in Plaza de la Constitución, a 17th-century square that used to be the home to the city’s main Arab marketplace.

The building that hosts the Hammam Aire is arguably one of the most sumptuous of the city. While there, you will be able to enjoy unforgettable experiences, such as swimming in the three baths, the frigidarium, tepidarium, and caldarium, whose temperature reach respectively 16°C, 36°C, and 40°C. Also, you will have the possibility to be given some of the most relaxing aromatherapy massages, whose strength is the employment of aromatic essential oils that will improve your physical and mental health.  

Thanks to its recent renovation, the Hammam Aire de Almería offers renewed services, such as a wine bath, a salt bath, and the possibility to relax in a swimming pool on the rooftop of the Hammam, adding to your experience in the Arab baths, a breath-taking view over the Alcazaba.

The Hammam Aire is opened all year long from 10 am to 10 pm, except for December 25th and January 1st. It is advisable to book in advance and to get to the Hammam at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time, to complete all the formalities before letting your senses get lost in this real heaven.

The Hammam Almeraya is the second biggest Arab bath in Almeria, and it certainly deserves a visit. Despite being smaller than the Hammam Aire, it has everything to satisfy your needs. Hot and cold baths, massages with aromatic oils, Turkish bath, and a picturesque tetería, will all serve to the goal.

The Hammam is opened Wednesday to Monday, 9 am to 8 pm. The experience is 90 minutes long, and it also includes massage if you wish so. The costs vary from €16 for the use of the Arab baths, the steam bath and the aromatherapy massage, to €130 for the private rent of the baths for up to 10 people.
